Registration Questions

Q. How do I sign up for the GvG challenge?
A. Visit our Guild Wars Guru GvG Challenge 2008 Registration Page as a Team Leader to get your guild signed up. Please make sure that you are familiar with our Rules and Regulations before doing so here: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/gvg/rules.html

Q. How many divisions are there?
A. We have 5 (five) divisions you can sign up in. Our Premier, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Casual divisions.

Q. How do I know which division to enter my guild?
A.

  • Premier Guilds - In this category are contenders that strive to be at the very top of the GvG guilds. (Approximate guild rank range: top 50)
  • Gold Guilds- In this category are top guilds who are generally in champion point range and are serious contenders for a trim in monthly tournaments. (Approximate guild rank range: 50 to 200)
  • Silver Guilds - In this category are established GvG guilds with a good grasp of the strategies on different maps and have seen a variety of builds. These guilds may have good individual talent, but are not quite monthly champion contenders just yet. These guilds have a good amount of GvG experience and have played with each other with established roles for each individual player. (Approximate guild rank range: 200 to 700)
  • Bronze Guilds - In this category have little to some GvG experience or are looking to become an established GvG guild. This is the right category for you if you have been engaged in GvG before but are still unfamiliar with some of the common strategies and/or maps. (Approximate guild rank range: 700+)
  • Casual Guilds - In this category should have very minimal or no prior GvG experience. This division is meant to provide new players a fair chance to go at each other without having to worry about more experienced players. Practice before the tournament is encouraged, but this division should not have guilds who were already well-practiced. (Approximate guild rank range: PvE oriented guilds well off the ladder)
