Well last night I exceeded 19Mil Balth faction earned...

... and decided since I have so much time on my hands, I'd do some type of a zkey "snapshot" to assess getting that elusive maxed title z12. The table below is from a spreadsheet I put together to LOL @ the magnitude of this title. I've only been playing GW for 78 months, but didn't really start to PvP until 05/08 when the ztitle was added to the game... Items in bold are my numbers, all others are calculated.

In a nutshell, it's taken me about 4 yrs to acquire almost 30 zkey stacks, so at this rate, I should be able to obtain the last 50+ zkey stacks in just 6 & 2/3 more years! Clearly earning balth isn't "the right way" to go about obtaining this title...

The only way to get that title exclusively through PvP is to be extremely successful at both GvG and Snowball ATs for years.

Otherwise, you're going to have to slug it out in the trading markets to get there.

i think they made some insane number for no reason at all. 20k keys for r12 z is insane seeing as how you get on average 500 faction an HA match or something and its 5k a key.

r3 is all that matters to transfer to GW2. Once I realized that, I stopped at r7. Wish I had been smarter about it and quit at r3. Oh well. It's my nub moves hard at work.

Advice:

1) Power Trade for the rest. If you are good at that you can make a lot of zkeys very quickly.

2) Set up a zaishen service. You seem to have enough zkeys that you could viable do this. Common options for your clients are, they give you 1 zkey, you open the chest 4 times and all drops are theirs, they give you 2k per key and you open the chest and all drops are theirs, and one ecto equals 4 drops from the chest.

This option, while still costing you a good amount, could help ease the money drain associated with this title, as long as you don't mind giving up good drops.

it took me over 13000 zpoints to get ONLY ONE etonic from the chest (none since)
1 q11 crys sword
1 q10 VS
8 draconic aegis (sold between 5k - 50k)
6 cel compasses (sold between 5k - 50k)
5 NON MAX celestial long bows 14-15/27 (merch fodder)
10-15 max inscriptions sold for 5k ea
a bunch of the following high req max merch fodder: pyroclastic axes, celestial axes/hammers/shields/swords (NO celestial STAVES or SCEPTERS), chaos axes/shields, eternal/storm bows, icy/fiery blade axes, elem swords, etc...

I'm r6 Zaishen and I've had 2 El Unseen tonics (when they were 70e/ea at first release) using 11 keys. 1 El Asura and 2 El Searing tonics. Never had any decent weapons though. Except maybe 1 q9 Command Draconic Aegis that I sold for 30k.

Also, those in bold don't drop from the Zchest, that might explain why you never got them. Just saying.

a few months I saw a dude that had zaishen rank 12....he said he had it for years...so much for ''everyone that dupes gets banned... you dupe you get banned'' what a load of bullshit, you can do whatever you want as long as you tell noone arena doesnt care...
