Perhaps there are only a very few of us who don't see the wit in having to put up with this all day long.

Nevertheless, I hope that Arenanet takes a few minutes to look at their server stats for today when they consider whether to implement something similar in the future. (And I don't just mean how many people logged on, but how many played and for how long.)

For my poor part, if I decide I have to play something today, I'll probably unwrap "Bioshock" which has been sitting unopened on my desk since Christmas. A curious achievement, Arenanet, don't you think?

Well, honestly it was very amusing.

Today is the day to take guild pictures, everyone!

On another note, this is having hilarious effects in Alliance Battles. A frustrating effect, but a hilarious one nonetheless.

Only complaint is that you can't make new pvp gear. Wonder how that little oversight happened?

Personally hate this years April Fools event, last years was 1000 times better, will only play on my low lvl chars till this is over if I play at all. And next time Anet, use fem chars as well. As for being april fools, guess we were the fools hoping for something better then last years sex change. So much for hoping for improvements with this failure

Wow, so much QQ over quite a funny change. PVP I can see where there may be some issue with the armor and being unable to tell whom is who, BUT, that said anyone that pve's should have no reason to bring out he wahmbulance for such a funny thing. I only wish they could have turned them into ninjas like the one online page where you do fighting with stick figures

IMO they went too far with this joke.. OK, it's perhaps fun for, like, 10 minutes or so, I appreciate the "spirit" of the prank, but frankly I'd also like to have the option to play as usual (i.e. seeing the real "look" of my character).
They could've limited the effect to, say, the first 5 minutes after logging in, or perhaps the whole day but only while in a few major outposts.. and maybe for the first 30 seconds after your party enters an explorable area. But after that, come on, let's admit it -- looking at these vapid stick figures in this otherwise beautifully rendered game gets rather annoying after several minutes..

Most likely will be Midnight Pacific Time since Anet is in Seattle
