Not Bug: Tonic dupe - Guild Wars Forums

I've searched the forums for this bug but found nothing.

Today, a guildie from me told me that he was spamming tonics (zoning) but after he did it like 100 times, he got an disconnection error and received the tonics back, but the party points were still there. Anyone knows about this bug?

I don't mean to be rude, but I'd put my money on the guildie not being completely honest and/or not tracking party points. Screenshots would help prove it, but considering the apparent randomness, such a thing would be near impossible to get.

Also, if this bug is repeatable, chances are many people would have found it and exploited it a long time ago due to the age of the game, and then been fixed. See if your guildie can post here and give us a more detailed explanation of what happened (e.g. exactly how many tonics were returned, what disconnection error #, etc.)

I spammed tonics by zoning and i did well over 100+ at one time. Never happened to me.
