No need to apologise. When I look at problem users I do read the comments people leave, not just look at the total feedback. If there are any +5s when +1 was meant, it makes no difference to the action I apply - negative feedback is negative feedback. The count just helps the judgement to come quicker

Seller beware! Wins auctions and changes mind and takes forever to respond. Reputation is in the negative, seems to be a habit for this user.

Default two fake bidders on the same item...

the first was a complete fake - fake ign name, fake email address - who had done the same to at least 2 other people. Auction ID: 2059531. this player did the buyout option on my auction and then there was no way to contact them. i left negative feedback, reported abuse via the link on the auction page and relisted.

the second one also chose to use my buyout option. Auction ID: 2066181. i made three attempts to contact him. in the third i said i feared it was another fake bid since he was not responding and there had been a substantially cheaper buyout listed at the same time as mine. he never responded to my emails/auction pms, but he did leave me negative feedback stating "shit seller very f'ed up price". (though he was allowed to use the actual word in my feedback.) i left negative feedback and reported abuse.

i have relisted my item for the third time and i am no longer offering the auction buyout option due to fear this will happen again. (though i did propose an in game buyout option that i am not sure is allowed. please let me know if that breaks any rules and i will change it.) i would appreciate any help in removing the negative feedback that i did not deserve and removing these fake bidders from the site. i should not have to suffer negative feedback for a high price on a buyout when the high end item also had a low starting bid AND no reserve. nor should i have to deal with swearing in my feedback from a buyer that bid with no intention of actually purchasing the item.

thanks!

The users you reported in both the first cases are related and have both been suspended from the site and the feedback they left you removed.

This is NOT allowed by the rules of the site and is something we regularly take down auctions for. All items listed on Guru Auctions must not be available for sale in game as users cannot delete auctions as soon as anyone bids on an item. Meaning if anyone bid on your mini, they would expect to be able to pick it up once the auction closed. If you had sold it in game for your buy out, then that person on the auction would be disappointed and correctly leave you negative feedback on the auctions. I have modified your auction to remove the in game offer - if you would prefer it to be deleted to start again, please pm me and let me know.

I am sorry you have had the unfortunate experience to have the same auction fail twice. Hopefully the next time it is sold it will get a new loving owner!

thank you for removing the feedback he left and for the info about the auction. i will go in and change it as soon as i submit this post.

sidenote - i saw the player online last weekend that made the fake bids on my auction - sos vengence. i told him i reported him and he was very clear that he did it and that he thought it was very funny. it is very sad to me that so many take such great pleasure at upsetting others.

Default Retaliatory feedback

The winner from auction id # 2119853 refused to complete the trade and left retaliatory
feedback for me. He PMed me: sorry, I bought it somewhere else.
And added me to the ignore list (after I told him that what he was doing was against
the auction rules).
His comment "got tired of waiting" is just lame. I PMed him ~5mins after I saw that
he was online.
Can you at least remove the feedback, if you decide not to ban him?
Thx in advance.

Was lookin at my old feedbacks what people left either me and I found a few that had quite a few minus feedbacks, I wish people would stop being jack***'s and use the system properly instead of wasting peoples time :/.

There seems to be one person going around making sock puppet accounts and buying out a bunch of auctions. I already reported them with the feature on the guru but I'll list them here too.

Allied Beast (-11) user_id=125695
wobbles (-1) user_id=125614
Lonley Soulguh (-9) user_id=125685

(Is there anyway you could implement a minimum rating to bid option, such as someone with only 5 or more rating can bid on my auctions?)

idk on wobbles, but I'm not alone in thinking that these others two user are of the same person:

Both of these users were suspended yesterday. We will are investigating the accounts and will take further action if appropriate. As stated before, if you've been disrupted by these users, relist your items.

The ability to implement such an option is on my wishlist of features for the auctions, but we would have to think very carefully before allowing it to be widely used as it would disadvantage new users who want to contribute to the auctions positively. In terms of improvements to the auctions and resources, I think this feature would come quite far down the list.
