Stuck on Thackeray's scavenger hunt

Hi!

As the title says I'm stuck on the quest Thackeray's scavenger hunt. I installed the game yesterday again after being away for a while. I don't remember which things I brought to him, but I did give him the candles and a Creme Brulee today and this is what he's replying to me now:

"That's it! That's almost everything I need. Just down to lots of candles and sweets. I think I already have something perfect to serve for lots of candles, but I'm still curious to see what else you might come up with for it."

According to Wiki this is one out of three replies you'll get after giving him all items required, but why isn't this message displaying for me yet?

Almost? What more could you possibly need?

If you don't give him the "perfect" item in one of the categories, you will have to give him three of the alternate items to count the category as "complete". The perfect sweet is a Birthday Cupcake. If you give him Creme Brulee, you'll have to give him three. That's why he's still asking for sweets.

Note that you can give him three alternate items PLUS the perfect item in each category to get the maximum reward. This is worth doing because the sacks of junk have a chance of giving a pretty decent item, even if not as nice as the paper-wrapped parcels for the perfect items.

The birthday cupcakes and hard apple ciders that count as perfect are only dropping in certain events. There are often people selling them in Kamadan, but expect to pay extra for them, maybe 1k each.

I was able to buy them both in Kamadan, thanks for the tip. Finally I can move on.
