is there ANY good ranger farming builds for exp?

Ok I give up, after ANet nerfed [skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill], and later [skill]Energizing Wind[/skill], which a somewhat small step on nerfing the annoying SWAY build in Heroes Ascent but screws of trapping. I come to the conclusion that there is no effective farming solo build for me to farm experience points for a ranger. It seems that assassins, elementalists, monks, necromancers, ritualists, and dervishes have the most flexibility on solo farming. From all the ANet's hate and tormenting on rangers, I think I should give up on the skill hunter title track (I failed on my survivor, so I was getting skill hunter title track). And since I don't have GWEN (I might get on Christmas), I think there is no flexibility for me to farm with a ranger. If there is someone in Tyria who can give me a miracle with a good ranger solo farming build, I would give this guy lots of Mudkipz.

Well ... you can still farm mesmers and necros in hard mode using a touch ranger with Melandru's Resilence. I guess scoundrel's rise is a good spot for that. The wind riders in the desert work too... So it's still possible, though I dare say it's not very effective.

You can also use that build to farm the spectra vaettir in normal mode in GWEN but you dont have that.

well im checking through the PvXwiki and I don't the ranger farming builds rated "great" would survive in HM.

Might be worthwhile for you to try and see if there aren't some faster Ranger + Hero builds that would be more effective than slow solo farming.

I farm Zelnehlun Fastfoot in HM for ranger tomes and exp is pretty good...

3-4 runs will level you up not sure dont play attention to it...

Hi there im up to 14 titles now on my ranger and never really farmed with him other than UW trapping in early days, but i guess if you need some quick xp, theres always a need for a ranger to farm the titans in the vortex or you could get good at being a ele tank and go where ever someone need that the ranger version of the ele tank pretty much kicks the warrior arse due to the constant supply of massive amounts of energy. If not theres always barrage the halls thingy where the darkneess live that run give you a reasonable amount of xp or as previous posts state reach out and touch! there was a great post on here ref that where you can kill various boses. But i have to say probably your best bet is to buy eotn and play it!

Well you guys are being helpful, if you can show me those builds (especially the guy who suggested the fastfoot one for ranger), I would be happy and will appreciate it. I never expected touch rangers can be farmers, lol.

Outside Sardelac Sanitarium in HM, go touch the Hulking Stone Elementals.

Use Vamp Bite, Vamp Touch, Offering of Blood, Throw Dirt, Whirling Defense and anything else you want. Take on 4 at most, and you'll level up in no time.

That said, if you give me the materials+cash (25 Wood, 25 Fiber, and 250 gold.) for Stars of Transference, I'll buy them for you and give them to you at no additional cost. My Ranger has 280+ skill points and is halfway to Legendary Skill hunter, so I can spare a bunch.

No, there's nothing good left. Go play a diff game..........or you could actually try to figure something out yourself instead of leeching ideas.
