Tips for the Ranger IDS Farm

I put together this build for farming IDS, i understand the ranger farming build already exists:

Dwarven stability
[card]Kindle Arrows[/card]
Poison Tip Signet
[card]Storm Chaser[/card]
[card]Troll Unguent[/card]
"Finish Him!"

Earth Magic: 12
Wilderness Survival: 10(+3 for longer serpents and better kindle/PTS)
Expertise: 5+1
Marks:6(+3 sometimes, for more damage)


I have a problem with the trolls in the cave, how do i deal with them? any tips on improving the build, making it any easier?

take either stonestriker and an armor with vs. 30 ac vs earth or armor of earth
AND glyph of concentration against interrupts.

with 12 earth magic, Obby Flesh lasts 18s, with a 20% enchant bow that lasts 22s, glyph of swiftness reduces the recharge by 25%, 25% of 30s (the recharge of ob flesh) is 7.5, making the recharge 22.5, that means 1.5s of obsidian flesh down time considering the 1s cast time, if im spot on. This is a little bit too much for me.

It might work, ill give it a go later.

Unless you mean for me to use it in conjunction with SQ?
