Don't use conjure frost if your bow doesn't do cold damage (second pic).

For max damage go with a Vampiric Bow (or Cold Bow if you're still gonna conjure), and bring a Zealous bow for when you run low on energy. 15^50 and +30 work fine on both, but it's really personal preference.

As for builds, that looks ok, though most people spec their conjure at 10 (not sure what you'd lower).

Drago's Longbow, Urgoz Longbow/Flatbow/Shortbow, Zalhelun's Longbow, etc
look at the green bows on wiki to get a general idea...

A standard barrage bow is the green Chkkr flatbow Bow from factions. Best one IMO. max damage, +15% always, energy gain on hit 1, energy regen -1, health +30, armor -10 while attacking.

Dont let the -10 armor concern you. You are attacking from a distance. That is the only time you use the bow.

In all honesty... Unless you're running a Conjure, the best bow for Barrage is a 15^50, Vampiric Flatbow. A-Net, in their infinite wisdom, have deemed it necessary to create 3 Zealous 15^50 flatbows and 2 sundering (despite the fact it blows... what do scrubs know, though? )

so if I had to say a green.... Ironwing Longbow. slightly lower refire rate, a shame, but I quite like the Ironwing skin, and Vamp rules.

I guess I'd never thought about this before, but does the refire rate of a bow even come into play if you're only spamming Barrage on a 1-second recharge?

Bows should always hold 29 to 30hp since your defensive stance pretty much neutralizes the +armor mods. Inherent is either +5e or 15^50 depending on your playtype; I prefer +5e myself since I make up for loss in firepower with poison and more persistent spamming. String is soley dependent on build, as you can see in your build a Icy string is required, but just standard barrage would call for a zealous string.

For Barrage, I personally hate the bowtype but Flatbows are great for rapid fire and long range. I stick with longbows for the accuracy though but I dont get enough barrages out of it. If you ever go interrupter keep a Recurve and Shortbow handy as well. Hornbows, havent found much use for them but hell I keep 2 on hand as souvenirs.

[wiki]Forgerunner[/wiki] and [wiki]Tarnok's Longbow[/wiki] are good for your conjure build. [wiki]Drago's Flatbow[/wiki] and [wiki]Forgotten Flatbow[/wiki] are good for standard barrage as well. If you ever decide to go outside the security of the barrage cult, buy a [wiki]Rotwing Recurve Bow[/wiki]. Can never go wrong with good ol'Rotwings.

Oh btw, Forgerunner and Tarnok are both less than 5k. The Drago and Forgotten flatbows are 20k+, and Rotwing is around 5-10k. Hope this info helped.

Yes. Because of this, a flatbow will give you the highest damage with barrage and no IAS. Hornbows overtake flatbows once you involve an IAS.

See, I always hated Flatbows for their comically low accuracy and long flight time, that's why I stuck with recurves and longs. Still, for Barrage those head hits are lovely.

I take favorable winds for lack of a prep. Usually when playing barrage, there's a ton of spirits up anyway, someone else already has it.

definately a vamp flat or longbow is a good choice for barrage

I carry a Drago's as well to switch to when I don't need the life steal.

Also those recurve bows are both nice but flat bows or long bows will do barrage more justice

My personal favorite way to barrage is going R/P using Go for the Eyes and Anthem of Envy

PVE wise, outside of the bows already mentioned, I have to recommend Saushali's Recurve Bow (for general dazing builds), Nundak's Recurve Bow (general poison builds), Gargash's Recurve Bow (goes nicely with any sort of ench builds). The dead bow skin doesn't hurt either

I hate to say it, but the Nevermore bow (the one from the bonus) is amazing, just a +30HP to it and it becomes perfect!
