Guru Skins Suggestion.. - Guild Wars Forums

I see that there is a place to choose from multiple skins, each unique in it's own way.

My suggestion is adding a skin sometime in the future that is unique in the way that it is just a clean concise skin. No pictures [other than buttons], etc.. Just a regular forum skin. If many users utilize a skin of this type there will probably be lag, and in turn, less complaints. :}

Not a bad idea, I know there are some users who sometimes don't use a PC to browse sites but other means like handheld devices. I can't for the life of me think of what that's called right now (ah ha! thanks nubnub), it's called a wap mode. Which is a text only version of the site. Something to look into. Thanks for the suggestion captain arne is pro.

http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/archive/ has a text only version of the site and a wap/pda version

Good suggestion, kzap, but the archives don't seem to be up-to-date.. I took a look at the first thread in the sell forum and it was dated 06-06-2005, 06:38 PM.

Archives also don't usually contain attachments or pictures.

Good idea! I don't know if I want to sacrifice the new shiny look for speed though...

I feel ya, Alias, but sometimes during peak hours with the flashy skins Guru won't load in time and will get an error due to using FireFox...

Sometimes I just want to surf the forum and read something other than the error.
