I think this is where it's meant to go.

Every page openiing with this add tries to install components to microsoft office. It then opens a pop-up page which my adaware blocks. The pop up page sends to http://a.tribalfusion.com

The advert link itself goes to http://a.tribalfusion.com/h.click/FU...c=tribal_luxor

apparently, although I have not followed it.

Is it just me or has THIS site just started condoning POP-UPs???
I dont mind banner advertising and understand it is necessary even but WHY WHY WHY ??? do i have to have a NEW window pop-up open each time i open a new tread in a new window??? I noticed these POP UPs are only coming up when Realarcade banner is on the page (the other banners dont do this)
Well if this is the case i will treat this site as i do with all other amateur sites that use pop-up and that i go DONT USE THEM!!!
Moderators please feel free to move this to another section if i have posted it in the wrong place.

Im gettin' it too, and it's bloody annoying!! GW Guru is my favourite fansite, but I will not be coming back if this does not stop. forshame.....

If I were you, I'd check for spyware :P

I've been getting 0 pop-ups for Guru

Then again, I'm using firefox... I get very few popups from any site. Even so, I'm not even getting the little pop-up warning saying that firefox has blocked any. Sooo, I'd still do an adware/spyware scan personally.

Its not spyware as it is only coming from one banner and thats the realarcade ... none of the others are doing it so it is FROM GWGURU

Nothing here at all, no pop-ups or anything. I'd perform a spyware scan just to be on the safe side.

No pop ups here either, it has to be your PC's, as suggested do the spyware scan, make sure your pop up blocker is enabled.

I'm using firefox and its it's great for blocking anything unwanted, you can also try the beta version of IE7, it's in built pop up blocker is very good.

So..it's not coming from GWGuru, it's coming from RealArcade. So an admin or the Advertisement Manager of GWG need to sort it out with them or remove it...I think.

First off, we are very good at removing advertisments that are questionable. All you need to do is point it out to us and ask politely.

Second, there's 99.9% of the time no pop-ups here. Sometimes one slips through in the advertisment and we just need to be made aware of it to remove it

What I need, in order for it to be helpful... is a screenshot and then the URL link that it's pointing to. Then I'll remove it, easy, simple. I haven't been getting the advertisment so perhaps it's even all ready gone

I'll continue looking and trying to pull it up though.

Ive been getting the pop-ups on three difrent PC's. One here at home, two at work. I have run spy ware checks on all three PC's, they all have none. therefore i do belive its caused by the Realarcade Adds.

Okay, I've gotten this ad now 5 times and no pop-up. I'm even on IE too. It might just be one particular ad in the series... hmmm

Ive just seen this add again, but no Office components installing, and no pop up, so either it got fixed by the admins, or the owners of the banner fixed it, either way, thanks for the reply Inde.

I was having this problem ALL last night. But it appears to not be popping up anymore. Very annoying.
