i've been banned, yeah...
i know what i've done... ('leeching' on a mission... the phone rang and i was away for 15 minutes, they reported me for leeching)

is this a perma ban?
it's my first ban ever, i never did anything wrong...

exact words: ''Your Guild Wars account been blocked has for an account issue. Please contact support for more information. (Code=045)''

I didn't buy any money with real cash...
I didn't do anything illegal!!
that's my point...

If it's permaban, it usually says "This ban is permanent."

sorry to hear that, it sucks if people report you if you have a phone call, provding the ban is not perma, then I suggest leaving the mission if that ever happens again, just to avoid being reported.

Best thing to do now is contact support about it like it tells you to and find out about the ban

Yes, usually it's either

"Your account has been suspended from Guild Wars for offensive behavior, which is a breach of the User Agreement and Rules of Conduct. You will be able to join the game in approximately X hours."

or

"Your account has been banned from Guild Wars for a breach of the User Agreement and/or Rules of Conduct. This ban is permanent."

according to wiki.

Anyhow, I'd suggest you contact support and ask them.

had the same block... =045... sent Anet a ticket etc etc etc... after a week my accoutn was unblocked

they did this last week to another person on this forum...tenderwolf I think....
there is something going on and it wasnt the leeching---

you MUST contact support about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

be very patient with them and very very polite.....it should get resolved if you have done nothing wrong......

but we can do nothing for you----CONTACT SUPPORT NOW!!!!

Umm...i guess i joined the code 45 club too... again. I have the same message today. All i did yesterday was help some friends get enough people to start jade flats so they could map it. As soon as it started i left. So if that is what I got banned for then leaving does not help. Be helpful...get a ban. Great community bonding idea, Anet!

And it doesnt say temp ban for x hours or permanent ban...just code 45 account issues.

You didn't get banned for leeching. In fact, you cant get reported for leeching in-game. If they were REALLY stuck-up they could submit manual reports and you might just might get banned. What it probaly is is that your account logged on from a different location. Never seen that message, and trust me... i've seen EVERY ban message that there is up front and personal.

There were a couple of blocked accounts(not banned) last week. It seems the blocks were initiated to to secure your account for you, as Anet probably saw some suspicious activity. Just get your keys ready and contact support to get it fixed. Like others have said, just be patient and polite.

And leeching gets you dishonorable(sorta like a timeout) not a ban.

Its a great idea having the report feature, but its gets abused by many people, and there are a great deal of people who get reported for no reason other than from a spiteful person, who either blames you for losing, or something happens out of your control, like bad lag and you get accused of leeching cause you not moving.

on the official site they say the fist ban (almost) never is a permanent one uless u did somthing like hacking, exploiting, sell your acc trade it etc
buti have the same problem and i did none of those things the message says i have an account issue but that can be 1000 things from 3 times wrong pasword till hacking guild wars with your acc and try to delete it al
