Hello guys, I want to report a bug for this otherwise excellent program.
Whenever I open a build for editing which has Painful Bond in it, Painful Bond is removed from the bar. I have the latest version of both program and data, and tested this on different builds. Currently, this is the only skill which produces this bug for me. I'm going through of all my saved builds to clean up the mess , and have seen hundreds of different skills load properly.
Does this bug exist on other computers? Or is it just mine? Please look into it.

I was not able to reproduce this bug so far.
However, please post the template code(s) you are experiencing the problem with.
Don't forget to try the PvE and PvP version of the database (last button on the toolbar).

Here's one skill bar: OACjQOgsIPO7vZ58st5i2AAmJ
PvP datafile loads this properly. The bug only exists with the PvE datafile, but it's consistent there.
Skill bars that have been saved over after editing do not have this bug any more.

Guild Wars does not show Painful Bond in this build either.

This is EXACTLY what Anet should have came out with. Perfect! Now I don't have to start Guild Wars to see templates! And the ad you have is really good as well.
... after looking around the program I found some things that can be improved. Can I PM you with some ideaas?

You can also post them here, but a PM will also do it.
It might take some weeks until I will add new features. Development has paused for the application, because I finally found a good PvP guild and after two and a half year of working in order to improve the game experience for others, I'm currently enjoying it myself.
Of course, skill updates will still be made available as fast as possible. But first, the Live Team will have to fight swine flu and I don't think, a single week will do it.

numma - gwshack.us .. if your using the same skill files as gwbbcode then liu has the updates usually within an hr as he`s coded a script that checks daily for updates.

I just updated the installer. It does now include the September skill updates as well as the new application update released today which includes minor bug fixes.
@Spiritz: Yes, I'm using GWShack's scripts, but they rely on the GWW, where the users need some time, especially if there are many new PvP versions.
Anyway, this time, I had to wait some more hours because I had to change the update servers for the skill updates. Unlike the application itself, changing the update servers for skill databases will only have effects on the update after the update which changed the update server. The old update server will be available for at least 2 months. As we can expect the next big balance update for November, I though it would be wise to push the update server update live with the current skill update.

This is the greatest thing since sliced bread! I have been using team builder and constantly griping about what everybody else does; java, no attributes, limited to 8 players, out of date descriptions etc. Its really like you read my mind! Previously, I had Arnapou GW Build Manager and Team Builder installed. But this is like you combined and improved those two programs.
Also, I am a HUGE fan since it works on linux... i can even use this on my notebook now. Very handy indeed! Im a very happy camper! I want to help spread the word about this!

My Alliance loves GW Teambuilder, but they adore pawned2.
Is there any chance a Server version of this will be released, and if so, when?

Is there a reason why you want to run your own server?

A lot of the people I play with in my Alliance love using the program, but dislike connecting to servers they aren't familiar with. They don't mind using Team Builder since it's my personal server that the tracker connects to, but I would like to be able to use all of the pawned features with them. We do a lot of Urgoz runs, and need spaces for 12 people!
Also, it would be nice if there was a little more customization on personal servers, such as static channels (similar to Ventrilo) which would hold builds for longer and such. Having a server repository of builds/equipment templates would be great as well for easy access.
I figured these sorts of things (which would be awesome) would increase server load, and may not be too viable for your server solution, where if a number of users hosted their own servers the load on your servers may not need to increase.

We don't give away our server executables. Additionally, the application does not allow more than two servers (normal and development one).
People were using Team Builder for years now, without the feature to create own servers. The feature seems to have been added because the developer stopped maintaining the project and doesn't want to spend money for it. Hosting a simple website is much easier than running a server.
At that time, noone could check what the application was sending to the servers because the connection was encrypted. Anyway, we hacked the Team Builder protocol and even got to save channels forever by accidentally using a server exploit which created a lot of ghost users on the DVD-Gilde server. That's why Team Builder has so many "users".
In paw·ned, we also have a master server. It is used for updates, announcements, blocking old versions and returns the server IP. Due to the paw·ned² infrastructure, running an own server is not possible.
If you don't think you can trust an official honoured-rank fansite and a program downloaded by tenth of thousands, I'm sorry for you, but you can use WireShark and check the transfer. You will only find Template codes, anyway.
If you want to make builds easily accessible for a long time, you can use your webspace and the PWND protocol for browsers (the link can also be copied to the clipboard an pasted).
pwnd://file/jn-games.de/files/Exilbuild.pwnd
This will automatically download the file at jn-games.de/files/Exilbuild.pwnd and open it. It can then be transfered to a channel.

Thanks for the reply.
I don't really understand the paranoia felt by some of my fellow Guildies, I just try and accommodate them when possible =)
Are there any more planned features for channel operation planned in the near future?

I just released the Codex Arena mod which will limit the skills to those in the codex if activated via the last button in the toolbar.
Update the application (if you haven't yet), download the mod and read the text in the installer window carefully.
I hope you like it.
