Alcohol Glitch? - Guild Wars Forums

I don't know if this is much of a major glitch or if it was always like this. I been working alot on my Kurz title and wait time in JQ is average 5mins or more, so I have been working on my alcohol title. I notice when I started drinking the Halloween drinks that I can use the Witch Brew but NOT the Vial of Absinthe. Every other drink is usable except that one.

What do u mean not usuable? When you double click on it, one doesn't disappear? Or does it not give you minutes when you do use em? Does this only happen in JQ or does it happen everywhere?

Animation can be used as a distractor, cant be used in pvp for this reason

If I'm not mistaken, plenty of different alcoholic drinks, such as Grog and kegs, can be used in pvp outpost and during pvp games. And those two drinks have animation far worst than the Vial of Absinthe.

No what they mean is the actual animation it puts out.... not what you experience as the player. The green mist/glow from the absinth could cause a distraction or an obstacle in a pvp situation.

Oh, now I understand. I forgot the Absinthe is the only alcohol to show animation other than the random drunk quotes.

So you can't use it in JQ because it's a competitive mission, which is not a bug. Can you use it anywhere else?

Any PvP area It can not be used, all the other drinks can I just tried it. Just curious if ANET made it this way or was it a simple mistake.. its no biggy :P
