It's been amazingly slow for me the past two or three days. I let it hang while trying to load a page for five minutes yesterday before giving up (amusingly, it was this thread I was trying to load). It's taking an average of 30-45 seconds to load anything right now.

It just took 4mins 38sec to load this subforum but only 9secs to load this thread.
I have had it like this for a week, now and then it takes several minutes loading, most of the time its moderatly fast.
Now lets see how long it takes to submit this post...
edit:it loaded in 2secs

Currently. the site is incredibly slow. I tried to post a message some 15 minutes ago and still have the "loading" message in the the browser. After ~10 minutes, I opened another tab of guru and after a few minutes of loading, I found my message in fact posted. This is not fun.

I can relate myself to that.
Tracert shows that I go though 'llsw.net' 6 times and from the second address on the response times gets slower and slower. just my 2 cents

Guru is running so slowly for me that I'll just click where I intend for it to go, switch to another tab for 1-3 minutes (sometimes longer), and then finally the page will load.
I don't know what's going on, but it's a mess.
EDIT: For example, this post took 2 1/2 minutes to happen.

For the last few days the performance is ok. The time to perform an action is constantly about 1-5 seconds.

All the Curse sites were pretty busted today. I contacted them earlier but it seems like it's only just now beginning to work properly. I'll try to get more answers tomorrow when they're all in the office.

I've been getting a ton of these tonight while posting, logging in, logging into the auctions section, and pming. Didn't have any issues earlier :\

I'm getting a lot of 'The connection was reset while the page was loading' errors. Maybe it's on my side but I'm not noticing problems with other websites.
EDIT: Working fine again now.

I've noticed some slow load times on pages when browsing as a guest. The top of the page loads and then takes a while (30 sec. or more) to display the content of the top post and beyond while the browser (Firefox) says "Waiting for adserver.mmoguru.com"
I've only seen that when trying to view threads as a guest. Looking at thread lists, etc. and looking at anything while logged in seems fine.
If everything is working as it should be, feel free to ignore this. But I thought the "mmoguru" reference could be a mistaken leftover now that Curse is handling the site.
Cheers,
Luny

I'm getting this error message:
The backend servers have temporarily reached capacity.
With less than 1500 users at the moment, that seems ridiculous.

There is an offending cron job running that has a tendency to lock up one of our back end servers for about a minute in the afternoon. I am working on performance fixes for that code.
