Server Speed Feedback Needed
We recently installed eAccelerator on our server which should lessen load on the forums and our sites a lot less, so please tell us if you notice any slowdowns still and at what time/timezone. Thanks! Hope everything is stable now.

Depends on how recently it was installed.
Over the past few days this forum has simply been unuseable for me from ~5-8pm GMT. I'll have another try during the same period tonight (2.5 hours from now).

Same Shanskie.
Sometimes these forums just get too much traffic (i think) and it just causes some random error with the database and it just takes forever to load at peak times (GMT).

Definitely better than the last several days. I haven't noticed any hiccups yet and was getting at least 6+ on the other days.

Seems a lot faster actually, before i was experiencing slow loading times, feels like a new server/host.

Haven't had to sit around waiting to see if GwG will load yet today... I'm happy.

I concur with the others. I had a lot of trouble with loading pages before. It seems to work flawlessly now. Neat job!

The forum is loading very nicely. I'm on a 56k connection and I have been having great page loads. Also the new upgrade looks really nice. Nice job!

Want to know how to decrease some bandwidth consumption? Look at the source code to your content. There is an absurd amount of whitespace that serves no purpose being there. You can always edit your templates, then run them through a stripper to only have the essential spacing in the markup, and cache that. Generated content like on the forums... same thing. This is one little secret that industrial strength servers exploit all the time.
