Search Funcation not available - Guild Wars Forums

Not sure if this is known or not, but when trying to use the Advanced Search function it comes up with

As implied by the message, it was probably just automatic.

It seems to work fine for me now, can anyone else confirm if they are still having issues?

But I dunno many things do not seem to work for me. Contact us (It looks like it works, but no actual contact), mark forums read, search, "New posts" also gives the same search disabled issue, same with "Todays posts"...

This message has been popping up pretty much 99% of the time when I tried to used the New Posts link since the last 2 days. An annoyance to say the least. It's happening automaticly tho indeed, as sometimes it will work. Are the new servers having a higher load on average then your old ones since moving to Curse ? Might simply need a small adjusting to the load settings ifso. Just guessing ofc.

Do hope you trace the problem for it.

Anyone find it funny...that...none of the mods are having issues when 5 mins after your post its not working for me? Seems like an issue with weird permissions maybe?

Although I will admit that this is likely not the case I just find it humerous to note.

I think it is. Just tried searching with my other account and it didn't work. Switched back to this account (took less than 30 seconds) and it was working perfectly again.

yes search is working fine for me (I have no 'other' account to use to check)...however I find it strange that the other users viewing thread is now missing---but that doesnt affect my modding so whatever.

Both these issues (along with a few others) made their way into Alexia's inbox this morning. Hopefully we'll see them all fixed soon.

Well I guess the existence of this thread explains why mine didn't get posted.

I can't get New Posts to work either and it's driving me nuts, I really hate visiting Guru when it's not working properly, and without Guru I have no lunchtime reading material. I hope you get it working again SOON! *crosses fingers*

Um...yeah. It's still not fixed. I'm pretty lost without my search rights.

It's weird that it was only disabled on normal users....

I am smacking the servers around. There was a crashed PHP process eating up the CPU and which was automatically stopping the search from running.
