Price-List for "Rare" Inscription Skins

April 8, 2012

Special note:: Prices do NOT all reflect the increase in ecto values. Do not be surprised to sell 15-20 ecto lower in some cases.

Values below are being accumulated from player sources and actual buy and sell prices. Input from spam i.e "WTB r9 protection BDS 1000e" or "WTS r9 Protection BDS 1000e", and pulled off of third-party websites (Not affiliated with Guild Wars Guru) and trade spam is not considered for tabulation of values. What is looked at, are auction sites and forums who maintain a trading section and regularly see traffic for inscription items and in game trades. Data-mining websites, since they contain only the spam and no actual proof of value, are considered speculation.

These prices are going to only be reflective of clean, undyed and unmodded weapons. Things such as "black dye", "white dye", "Forget Me Not" and "Aptitude Not Attitude" have a value of their own and are sometimes figured into weapon cost. A celestial compass modded 20/20 is more valuable to some people than a compass without anything on it at all.

If you sell a celestial compass for 50e that is modded 20/20, subtract the combined values of the "Forget Me Not" which can fetch upwards of 25-35k and "Focus Core of Aptitude", which modestly goes for 7k at around 6 ecto for the total. The CC itself would have sold for around 44-45e.

I will be updating this as we go and will maintain it at least 1-2 times a week to ensure accuracy. Values are only suggestions and can reflect time spent selling an item because markets -do- change.

Remember, YOUR experience is not always typical of the market. Factors such as time of day, day of the week, district & country, supply vs player demand and trends can and will influence prices.

I'd like to thank Ange for getting this started and it would be great if the community responds with their feedback and suggestions. (It's just an excuse for me to decorate GWG with more of my beloved tiny weapon pictures)

at OP tyvm for taking the time to put this together, unsolicited too! hopefully, it will take care of some of the more redundant pc's...but, if stickied, it may require frequent (monthly?) updating so unless someone is willing to "keep" that thread then I dunno if it's worth it cuz it will misinform in terms of current pc's..just my .02c with all that said, however I +1 for sticky ty again btw

Ange: 1st rate effort. Most of your figures are right on the money!

I add my voice, and this thread should get a sticky, since there are innumerable people who often seek quotes on these items, and it will be helpful for us to point them here.

Mods: If possible could you look into this, and Ange if you can edit as prices change and add any other "high end" items that are often queried, it would be most helpful.

Once again, very good job, and I personally keep this page open in a tab in FF, I find it a very handy quick reference.

I did buy my q9 heal froggy for 180e but that is actually a rare occurrence to find that price for it. 200-220e seems like the normal price range for it.

Q9 Dom CCs go for a bit more. I have sold them for 40e clean easily.

Q9 Heal CC seems a bit high. At 45e it is a very hard sell. 35-40e is the normal price range for it now.

That's all I see atm

Bought an r9 Emerald Blade for 22e, turned it over at 30e.
