I don't believe it. O_O;;
You're right!
It does take about 45 seconds! ^_^
But Assassins and RANGERS?
I use Zenmai, Melonni and Kahmu: A/D, and 2x D/A.
Same four skills: [skill]Pious Haste[/skill][skill]Dash[/skill][skill]Dark Escape[/skill][skill]Shadow Form[/skill].
Quite simply... there is no better running skill combination than Dash and Pious Haste for optimum speed.
That by proxy means that I'm taking too long to do the set-up... ^_^;;

Yep, the coast is clear for the heroes that are running. If you want to watch them, bring a friend then find a way to die. Quick way is to do Shadow Form with no points on Shadow Arts. When it wears off, use a grim cesta. Or arm a health staff, then disarm it after Shadow Form wears off. Make sure there are no henches to rez you. When your friend there alive, you won't get the rez timer so you can stay dead and watch your heros as you control them.

I use the three rangers.
Bar: Natural Stride, Dash, Dodge, Zojuns, Shadow Form, Feigned Neutrality
They only used Feigned when they hit a point, so you know when your done.
Enjoy.

Yea i'm using the 3 rangers too: [skill]Dash[/skill] [skill]Dodge[/skill] [skill]Zojun's Haste[/skill] [skill]Shadow Form[/skill]
Works a treat I'm also looking into using this as my money earning method. With loot scaling, FoW + UW are poor now, HM is okish... but this takes no effort and guaranteed 3,750g in 30mins

Yes it does.
That is why I keep it inactive on their skillbar and only activate it manually myself when it isn't in danger of cancelling Shadow Form.
The benefits outweigh that one flaw... though it took me a try or two to realise that they WOULD actually activate it off their own bat and ruin the run.
Typical sequence starts with:
Dash > Shadow Form > Dash > Dark Escape (lasts for duration of Shadow Form) > Dash > Pious Haste... And repeat the last two until they reach their points.

Surely R/A is faster, considering you will always be travelling 33%-50% faster?
Typically I do Dash, Natural Stride, Dash, Zojuns and repeat. I think it would be slightly faster.

R/A is very fast no matter what. Plus just alternating Dash with Zojuns, Dodge, and anything else gives me less to think about and multi task with.

If you're accounting for the time when Shadow Form need be active... then it might be.... but there are three points worth mentioning:
#1. Dark Escape and Shadow Form have close duration... and if used correctly, Dark Escape's expiration can be used as a timer for Shadow Form... or indeed for reflagging the Steps runner.
#2. Pious Haste can be maintained permenantly at 0 Mysticism... meaning that Dervish secondaries can use it just as effectively here as Dervish primaries. The Ranger running skills are Expertise based and require heavy pointage there, which means Ranger primary. If one doesn't have all three Ranger Heroes (Jin, Margrid and Pyre) then it practically demands different skills per character. My method is a bit more forgiving in its requirements (Zenmai and Melonni are easily aquired... and Kahmu is more easily gained than Pyre or Margrid {since Gunnar's Hold is just a short run from Eye of the North}).
#3. Less skills to think about. Ranger running skills have too much downtime for a short uptime. I'm all too familiar with that from much time sprinting from A to B and finding my Ranger sorely lacking (she'd need at least two running skills on her skill bar to match the effectiveness of Dash alone). As such I just don't like the Ranger running skills much. The only one of real worth is Natural Stride, which gets messed up the moment you get hexed.

Been meaning to get around to trying this out ever since I saw it on PVXwiki. At least this thread answers some of my questions

Ahh that's what I could never understand about how easy this was. I always thought you had to flag the henchies around and activate their skills to avoid all enemies along the way. Thanks for clearing this up.
My only concern with doing this is the possible Repeated Stress Injury one could incurr from all this mouse clicking. I estimate I need about 10000 more runs to max out kurzick title. No wonder I've been leaving this for almost last

I found the system on PvXwiki and got LS with my paragon doing this.
And I used 2 eles and a ranger. Eles work well too, max fire and use flame djinn haste, or air with storm djinn haste, give them something with +20% enchant and gg.
Note: I would suggest to avoid continuing this thread, don't post just to say "omg it works great bla bla ..." .
If you read and are able to do it, do without advertising so much.
Use pm if you need further clarifications.
Hopefully this thread will eventually go to page 100 and no one will pay much attention to it.
My concern is that A.net can decide it's too an easy run and nerf totally the quest, as they normally do.

If they nerf it, I doubt this thread will have much to do with it. The outlook has always been get as much faction and title track progress as you can while you still can. So far, we can still do it this way.

How long have people been using this method? I've noticed people in Lutgardis are still looking for FFF groups so apparently it's not that widely known about.

I'm not sure how long but at least a month. It's extremely hard to find a group that runs manually anymore.

Amazingly fast and a great guide, especially for the stairs(Pyre kept getting stuck). Thanks for making this, it beats the crap out of Aspenwood.

Have you done regular FFF runs? If you have, it will help you understand this much more. Otherwise I'm not sure how I can explain it. I don't mean it in a bad way, but I tried to show someone who has never done FFF runs before and I couldn't do it.

Yes I've done them. That's not the problem, the problem is timing.

The original post and ones after may touch on it. You kinda have to figure it out like everyone else does. It's because everyone pretty much does it a little differently. I'm sure people have their own interface layout. I sure do.
Just practice doing one spot at a time. Then you'll be able to do two heroes at once. Then eventually you'll be able to do all of them simutaneously.
