Most annoying GW moment - Guild Wars Forums

I just completed factionsa for the first time. A mainly guild based outing, we got the masters award with a time of 2:05. I saw the cutscene up to the point where the player asks what will happen to Shiro and one of the spirits says to let them worry about that.

Then my PC crashed (a problem I've had lots with Guild Wars, don't know why).

Not only did I not get to go to the Divine Path, but when I logged back in I didn't have an amulet of the mists despite the mission showing as completed.

Fingers crossed I'll get the amulet when I next defeat Shiro, but if not my PC has cost me the price of an amulet on the open market!

I believe the flag for completing the mission isn't the same as the flag for gaining the amulet.

PCs are always so untrustworthy... I know there's no way of changing that, just making a point, don't worry though, you don't get the amulet for completing the mission, you get it when you talk to this certain guy... and guildwiki says you get the amulet when you first talk to him.

You will get the amulet after talking to Suun in the Divine Path, it's not an auto reward...

I had a similar situation. At the end of topk, vic's axe dropped for me. I went to get it but didn't move. I tried the skill buttons and, sure enough....Swirls of the 7th Doom.

Luckily, the team finished without me and I got a very expensive "unclaimed item" when I logged back in. Before that, however, I hurt myself from yelling at the cable modem .

Eehm... When I realised that I sold a valuable perfect gold weapon to the merchant (wasn't paying attention. Thought I was equipping it in my inventory window, so I double clicked, but I had the merchant sell window up.. D'oh! That even happened several times.. :S )

Or when I realised that I dyed all parts of my old armor black instead of my new 15k armor...

a while ago i was a dirt poor newbie ranger. at that time i have never seen more then 3k in storage...

went to SF on my first time with henchies (just to see whats that my guild is always at) and got Drago flatbow!!! asked then whats that, they told me its the best bow in the game that is worth 100k (at the time that was it)

now imagine how annoyed i was when i accidently sold it to merchant abit later ...
