A Little Help On Set's..

Hi People..

Simple question im not understanding.. What does this mean below ?

* Mixing Survivor insigna's with vs x armor.
* 40/20% Prot Set.
* 40/40 Prot Set(ZB).
* 30/-2 High Energy Prot set.
* Defensive Sets(-5 and +5).

How do I set these do I need to open 4 Weapon slots looking at that I think I do.. So how do I create these.. Dont understand.
