Life Bond/Barrier Question - Guild Wars Forums

What is the current status of these skills in regards to triggering Balthazar's Spirit and Essence Bond that are cast on yourself? I thought something changed recently in lastests patches.

Do all types of damage trigger it? Only physical?
Does the damage need to be more than the damage redecution of life bond so that I don't get -0's?

I tried to test this out in Riverside yesterday with Life Bond on the Henchies and BA on myself. I got no energy with Justicators (sp?) pounding on them.
Am I using it incorrectly or does this not work anymore?

I havent played my monk since the last update, but I used to chuck a baths spirit on myself, then some lifebonds on henchies/party members. Even when the dmg is -0 to you, you still gain energy.

I think the update made baths spirit more dependant on actual attrib, which sucks because im a healer/protector

Still works with balth's spirit, does not work with essence bond. (life bond)

life barrier doesnt trigger either of those.

It still works, only against attacks but thats how it always was. Maybe you're actually using balth's aura? where you should be using balth's spirit.
