Felt like watching a game on TV instead of waiting to see how either team won. Commentary was nice, as was the instant replay and was overall informative. Just some things you may want to look into:
1) Try to tell the audience what sort of strategy both teams are using (i.e., spike, split, hex/condi pressure) Helps to give your viewers some more insight on what is being ran and what to expect.
2) Video quality
3) Maybe (big maybe, don't have to do it) also say the in-game name of the player you are referring to (like instead of saying 'Red 4' you could say 'Person McPlaceThing')
Really glad someone is doing this. Convenient and entertaining. Please keep it up!

Yes, I did accidently omit that info, I will try to work that in on future videos, thank you!

Like i said in an earlier post just before you posted here (you were probably typing)... its kinda out of my hands... Youtube has had the video for 13 hours, and its "Still Processing"... so I am kinda let down myself about their tardiness to get it into the HQ like all my other GvG videos on there...

The thing is with that... if it was like in [rawr] where its Chop Chop, Jatt and Pounds... then its really easy to call it and you know who is who, like Lebron or Kobe but in GW terms... but when you get some of these names like "I pwn lik a hot sin" or those chinese charactor names, doesn't exactly roll off the tounge very well... so saying "Red Necro" narrows that down a little to make it easier and you know who I am talking about... like "UCONN Center"... maybe I am talking the easy way out, but I am not a full pro voice over guy like on Sportscenter

Well done, that was pretty awesome.
Don't really think doing names is necessary. People know what you're talking about when you say 'nec,' 'ele,' 'monk 1,' or 'monk 2.' I'd probably end up getting confused if you started calling them by their names.

I mean, in the terms of 1v1 where in like this month's final, there was 3 Monk Heros and the player... so at that point, I would call the names, because everyone knows who Taulk, Ogden and Donkey are...
Which BTW... I am not going to Commentary Vid the 1v1 event since it was just a cap feast and no kills... just walking around, shadow stepping, and cat and mouse capping... kinda dull IMO...

Very good. I actually thought about doing this on a regular basis back in the day but I never got around to it. I thought it would be a good thing to get more people into PvP.

I wish something like this was there from day 1 of MAT. Hell, from day 1 of observer mode.

First, you did an amazing job, congratz. Reminds me of the GW versus website. We, PvP newbies, need more of those. I hope the recent mention by Regina+Izzy of "making obs mode more accessible" may mean that stuff like what you did may become part of the game.
I got a 40Mo mp4 file from youtube, the animation is perfect, but picture quality got seriously degraded, as is often the case often on youtube. Is there a way for you to upload the original file to a file-hosting website such as www.rapidshare.com ?

Awesome, thanks so much for taking the time to post the vid with commentary. Much more exciting than watching it on observer mode.
Looking forward to April's MAT play by play

Observer + Commentary = The way to promote GvG as an esport.
Big shame that over all those years very few videos like this were produced.
Idea for GW2 : Integrate commentary to ingame observer mode - uploaded for major tournaments by official or approved sources only, hearing it optional for the watchers, synced with the game timer.
A real interactive GWTV, make watching obs really interesting.

Once again, thank you all for the gracious words of support of me making this video!
Like I might have mentioned in a past posting, I did send a message to the Community Group (hopefully Regina) via the support ticket to ANET with a link to the video on Youtube... I will try to follow that up since the video has over 540 views in less then 24 hours... which for myself I could cry for how happy that has made me . I have talked to Regina off and on in the past, and I am in hopes to be able to catch her in the near future about this topic. Currently, the Helpdesk site is down for NCSoft... so I guess that will have to wait.

I do have a 25GB Sky Drive server (courtesy Microsoft)... so I could upload the file there for the orginal version of this video which will be clearest and the best quality I know of to put on the internet... HOWEVER... this would involve downloading the file for others (slower process), and the potential of other persons posting the video without protection onto various other sites (like Youtube) there by attempting to steal the video, and pass it off as their own. This has happened to me before and again quite recently... so due to that reason... I can not upload it that manner untill I can find a way to maintain the best quality possiable while protecting my partcial rights to the video due to the work I put into it... For now, the only place I know of is Youtube. But this is also why I am in hopes that Regina, or ANET in general, will help me in some way with this endevor, leading up to the the April MAT. Which for us Senior GW Players, thats the biggest month of the year for Guild Wars because that is also Guild War's Birthday.
Again, thank you for all your support and kind words! That is probably the best way to show ANET that there are many people like you out there wanting this kinda of "media coverage" for these kinds of events.

I watched this earlier ~ nice work - with the obvious quality issue I just had GW open at the same time in Obs Mode and let you commentate in the background xP
I appreciate you've already answered this too, but it would be greatly improved if you threw in the players names occasionally - gj though.
