Paranoia sets in... previously when log-in was fail many members commented... am I the only one who does not have the auction site atm?

I'm also unable to log in, but I will pass this thread on to the higher up's and hope they will be able to sort something out soon, please have patience.

Now that the 2-3 day maintenance mode is over... we have broken login problem once again

...and so much for that long list of fixes thread being addressed

If Find and Seek is able to log in that sounds great. Wish we all could.

*edit* after being booted 4 times and then posting here... I returned and took "one more try" and got in.

*edit edit* booted 4 times on login after going back and posting the edit above. aaaarrggghh

I myself have been having issues signing in also, and I'm sure Wyn is fully aware of it, the maintenance wasn't scheduled nor was it set up by any of the admin's so for now they are investigating how it happened.

When it does not log me in I continue to click on "enter" and usually after a few times it logs me in. Perseverance

Log in, no worries.

Click on sold items; shows log in screen like I haven't logged in.

Log in again.

Click on won items link; gets redirected to main auction page.

Click on sold items; get to sold items.

Click on pre-searing items; back to log-in screen.

Seems like really random bizarre behavior where we have entered a place called the twilight zone.

Definitely a big sad face on this issue.

So look what a long bout of cursed maintenance does.

Yeup... same here since my last post.

Try refreshing and sometimes you find you are logged in already and can continue to sold items, and sometimes backspace takes you to a place where you do not have log in again.

What I have be managing with is logging in with a main tab then opening a second tab and use that second tab as a testing ground for checking auctions if it doesn't work try another.

Hey thanks for the idea with switching tabs Find & Seek, I am at least able to eventually get to what I need.

Also Shmek, you are very right in that although the current viewed page looks like you need to log on again, you are indeed already logged on and a refresh or opening a link from that page shows that you are.

But honestly with the game being as old as it is, it seems unlikely they would be willing to sort out the auction software now which is a shame because me and a number of people like yourselves still use it quite regularly.

Damn it - Dropped my connection again in the time it took to post a message. 139 dropouts in 3 days on ADSL+2.

What I wanted to say was that although I whinge and carry on at times, I actually like the auctions and would like to thank in advance those who are trying to track down the problem.

Yes, my joke about the site being cursed was intentional - just not very funny.

I accept that we will never see the auctions running in great condition again and it will be sorely missed from me. But thanks to you all who regularly keep it running and use it so much. It really has been a good community. OMG did I admit to that!

Thanks everyone and hope to see you the other side of the current issues.
