Guild Wars 2 at E3?
Any chance Anet could surprise us with a showing at E3?
On Regina's talk page, it mentions she's out of the office this week, maybe she's at E3?
Nothing has been mentioned about them showing up, and I couldn't find anything showing them being there on the official site for E3, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Screenshot, concept art, ANYTHING. E3 is the perfect venue to finally give the community a glimpse of Guild Wars 2.
I'm sure it's all wishful thinking and we won't see anything, but...well yeah, wishful thinking probably...

NCSoft isn't even going to go to show Aion?
Are they even vaguely familiar with the concept of marketing?
Gah. Epic fail.

IIRC, NCsoft and Anet decided not to go to E3 due to problems with the expo, but rather went to PAX, but it may change? see below:

Just because they are going, doesn't mean they'll have a booth. E3 is still pretty much dead.

Regina said something like "we'll have more to share on GW2 later this year" but I am guessing PAX will be the venue.

I'm 99% sure that we were told that the GW2 website would be launched last year, so take that with a grain of salt.

Lol what? It's far from dead especially compared to Expo which is nothing compared to E3. Unless you wanted to say Anet is afraid of showing up to not get hammered up by Blizzard and other companies.

Anet joins a ton of other companies pulling out of E3 because it sucks.

I'm with Great Al on this, they've also stated in the past that we'd have the game by now (or the beta at the very least). I'm not getting my hopes up too much.
I don't think Arenanet is going to show at E3 simply because they aren't attending. And besides that, they've never really shown a lot at E3 anyway, they've mostly concentrated on PAX.

I don't see how they would be "hammered up"
They have had a great success here without blizzards main form of income, blizzard and anet could learn a few things from each other but anet is far from a laughing stock you act like they're funcom.

Blizzard isn't attending E3 either.
They didn't attend last year either, which shows you're at least a year out of touch.

To be fair the last E3 was well... a disaster...

Yeah, about the best E3 has this year is Mass Effect 2, Halo ODST/Reach, and Assassin's Creed 2, and a bunch of IPhone game apps.
Not a lot of computer game companies (relatively speaking) there this year making big announcements.
And there is no reason for NCSoft to talk about Aion at E3. E3 is for stuff that is more underdeveloped. Aion is essentially already ready to go. Plus, E3 is not about marketing as much as it is about getting developers to go to conferences and about investors.

Quite possible. But, probably not in any official capacity. As was mentioned earlier, a few of the higher ups may be there to check out the competition and to see some old friends.

We aren't showing at E3, but a couple members of our business team are there for meetings.

As others said, quit reading from PC Gamer circa 2005. Since E3 switched their format from a fan-centric festival to a corporate slobber-fest, it's still on the low end. PAX is more popular with gamers, now, and NC Soft pays attention to that sort of thing.
Since Anet has nothing to release, why show up?
