It's not. It doesn't grow however, so you get a small but non-compromised bear.

Yes, I'd love someone to update it, but I have a new baby at home. 3 kids under 5 years old = not much time to re-write guide :P I'll see what I can squeeze in.

The Rainbow Phoenix is supposedly the largest pet and it comes outa GW:EN basically endgame but in theory you could get all the tapestries from others, then you just need People Know Me(2). However, it has been confirmed (according to the wiki - gw.gamewikis.org) that GW:EN pets do not grow. Just like the Factions pets in that regard.
The only for sure charmable pets (of the greater than level 5 variety) which I've found in GW:EN are level 8 moas just outside Umbral grotto, but there are also some lvl 15 elder crocs in a big aggro pack east of there along the northern edge. Not confirmed charmable however.
I seriously doubt it can be charmed no matter how lucky you get, but there is also an elder black widow in Magus Stones, its a pet of Ashlyn Spiderfriend (enraged lunge) boss who's pretty much right outside the Arachni dungeon.
Edit: Elder Crocs in Verdant Cascades are indeed charmable, even with a hero

After the update, my pets evolved normally and also grew in size. Even mountain eagles which use the phoenix model grow!
So polar bears should grow by now, too.
At least my black and white wolves have grown. Interestingly they are a tiny bit smaller than their evolved tyrian cousins!

Ahh well, thats one way to bump a good thread..... But I do wish these dumbbots would at least be programmed to post on the right forums... but the EVE and WoW forums are probably plastered with GW scam bots .
Nice guide btw... I might invest some time to get a pet for my ranger with this thread in mind.

Actually, the polar bears are not screwed up AND they do grow. So you have a black bear sized pet that isn't screwed up. :O

There Is A New Spell!
Oh and hey Jenosavel, Epiniphrine, you've got Feral Aggression to test and compare to Call of Haste! Whereas Call of Haste is +25% attack speed and +25% movement speed for 10 energy every 25 seconds, Feral Aggression is +33% attack speed and +10 damage for 15 energy every 20 seconds. But there is a catch to Feral Aggression ... it has a hidden 3/4 of a second cast time but it'll only really affect you if you're running in circles 24x7 since you briefly stop moving to cast Feral Aggression.

Any reason this information isn't stickied ? The write up is excellant and the guide is great.
The information on the unevloved pet is not correct however. I have had pets evolve at a level past 11th. In fact I have had several pets that have not evolved until reaching lvls 12th or 13th. This is probably due to updates and changes but the information in this guide pretty much covers pets and the questions around them.
I vote for a MOD to sticky this topic
