Greens & Other Unique Items (all campaigns) Price Guide

I haven’t been posting as much since switching accounts, but I found some time this evening to gather up some data I’ve collected either in personal trades or first-hand accounts of transactions. I basically act as the merchant for my Guild and I work from home, both of which afford me plenty of time to observe trade chat and jump on deals. I went through all areas of the post that I’m intimately familiar with, and feel confident that the following data should help rectify some discrepancies and outdated information:

(Ectos are currently valued at 7-7.5k, depending on the hour checked)

Kerrsh’s Staff is regularly moved at a 6k minimum, with some WTB ads up in excess of 10k, anyone trading the item for 5k or less is being quite generous to the purchaser.

The Bison Cup rarely fetches 3k, 2k would be the high-end expectation with much patience or luck, 1k may be more appropriate.

The Amulet of the Mists will easily move at 4k, with some buyers willing to pay up to 10k for them occasionally.

Droknar’s Key should move at 8k easily, trades up to 15k are fairly common though.

Destroyer Weapons can regularly be purchased at 15k, though if looking for a particular one 25k would still be appropriate.

DoA Gemsets can barely move at 14k these days, many are sold at 10k with 12k being the most common price.

Coffer of Whispers rarely fetch more than 14k now, 16k max but 12k more common.

Tormented Martial Weapons have been posted as low as 17e lately, with some holdouts going as high as 22e for the Recurve Bow, Spear, Scythe, and Sword with minimal success. 18-21e would be a fair assessment of current value.

Tormented Shields still vary by attribute but follow suit with the weapons, 22e at most with 20e being most common. Tactics seems to be the most expensive at present, with the other three about 1-2e behind.

Tormented Staves, Scepters, and Foci are 18e for the less popular attributes, and 20-23 for the more prolific attributes based on PvE Meta. Healing, Protection, Death, Domination, Earth, Fire, Communing, and Restoration are regularly 2-3e more than their counterparts.

Primeval Armor Remnants have dropped in price significantly, perhaps due to the frequency of DoA runs. I’ve purchased whole sets at 2k ea, 3k being more common, but you will find the occasional buyer still offering 8k plus for one.

An Ascalon Razor would be very difficult to move at 25k, 5-15k would be more appropriate.

A Traveler Icy Dragon Sword still fetches a minimum of 20k, anything less than that and you’re giving/receiving a great discount. 35k would still be appropriate for the high-end expectation.

I have had almost no time for GW lately, so I've seen very little trading. I did want to get this OP updated as best I could with the new WiK items and the reports from the past few months.

My only price reports to note are:
- over the past few days I've been around trade districts a bit. I noticed a couple people selling Dhuum's Soul Reaper for 50e, and ecto still seems to be ~7k.
- I've seen reports of Oppressor's Weapons (and/or stacks of war supplies) anywhere from 35k to 25e on various other threads. Clearly, the HoM info release will drive those prices up for a while.

Trades from Oct 15
- bought "Fanatical Devotion" for 25k (seller was asking 40k to begin with)
- bought "Red Asuraline Staff" for 25k (seller's asking price)

For all the armors below, I did have to spend some time finding willing buyers but not a long time. I was trying to aim for the midpoint of the various buy and sell prices I saw. The sales were all to various people buying 1 or more. I think the largest "set" I sold was 5 cloths.
- sold 5 Stolen Sunspear Armors 10k ea.
- sold 5 Ancient Armors 12k ea.
- sold 10 Cloths of the Brotherhood @ 15k ea. (In the past few days looking at trade ads, I've seen sellers in a hurry offer to sell for 10k ea. and buyers in a hurry offer to buy for 20k ea.)
- sold 6 Mysterious Armors 12k ea.

Based on current material prices, it looks like it would cost 45-55k to craft a Destroyer Weapon if you could find the onyx and diamonds for sale.

I noticed lots of wtb and wts ads for Destroyer Cores @ 300g ea. I noticed a few wtb ads for them at 250g ea., but I didn't spot anyone selling them for that. Myself, I didn't buy or sell any.

- I sold 20 more Cloths of the Brotherhood to various people for 15k ea. I took 14k ea. if they bought more than one and asked (without being rude) for a bulk discount.

- I was chatting with a guy in Kama who had an ad up to sell "Firebrand" He said he didn't know how much it was worth and was just taking offers. I asked him to let me know how much he sold it for. A couple hours later, he told me 65k. Based on the context of our conversation, I seriously doubt he made it up. (no point in doing so, and he didn't seem the type to bs.)
- I'm the one who bought dracolysis' "Peace" for 10k (which he reported a couple posts down from this one - Thanks again!)

(I listed them with various other stuff on a thread here at 200g s/b. There was only that one offer. They're so easy to get for some characters, so I suspect the "fair market value" is equivalent to the price of one Lv 5 booze and no higher.)

Someone had "The Rapture" listed for 2k b/o. I posted to buy it, and no one else tried to outbid me (that I saw in posts.) When I caught up with seller in game, I asked him if he was aware of that green staff's details and warned him it might be worth significantly more than 2k! I told him it was fine if he wanted to hold onto it and see about selling it for more to other people. He told me inv. space was more important to him, but he'd had no idea about the value before. So he offered to sell it to me for 5k. I accepted. So this was a valid trade with both parties aware of what they were trading.

I made sure the seller was well aware of the demand for War Supplies/Medals of Honor before we traded, but we both agreed it's not like you can turn one of the commemorative greens back in and get a refund after the fact.
- bought 2 Charr Bags for 1k ea (seller's asking price,) in post.

Oct. 26
- sold 206 War Supplies for 500g ea. to someone with a buy ad up in town.
- bought "Isaiah's Balance" for 20k from someone with a sell ad up in town.

Oct. 27
- sold "Asterius' Scythe" for 15k (my asking price) to a buyer in game looking for this specific green.

Oct. 29
- I bought a "Bubahl's Grasp" for my offer of 2k from a thread here.

During the last week of October, a friend of mine was buying Kathandrax Hammers to level up his survivor. He tells me he bought ~75% of the hammers he needed for 2.5k ea. easily (others in town were always advertising to buy for 2k ea.) He farmed the rest he needed himself. I asked an acquaintance who seems/ed to trade in them recently for their PC quote, and he told me 2-3k seems the average price.

Oct 31 - I bought a Heavy Equipment Pack for 15e (~105k.) There was a thread here with someone selling buyer's choice of 15 gold z-coins worth of pack(s.) The highest posted offer was 15e from several days ago, but the OP's comments read like he had yet to get in touch with the buyer. I whispered him in game and asked if he would sell a heavy pack to anyone for 15e. He said the winner never contacted him, so he would.



NOTES - This is stuff I've noticed, NOT stuff I've actually bought or sold myself.
- Oct (post HoM calc release) monumental tapestries offered for sale as much as 5k in game, 2k on Guru threads.
- Several different sellers, in game and on threads here, offering Primeval armor remnants for 12k ea.
- A friend of mine doesn't like to spend much time selling. He says he can sell Cloths of the Brotherhood FAST for 10-12k ea. (my 15k sales sometimes took a while.)
- Talking to people selling Oppressor's Weapons, I'm hearing they're 95-140k (20e) ea. I've seen people buying war supplies as low as 100g ea and people selling as high as 800g ea. (I'm sure that range is way wider than actual trades ... at least, I hope it is!)
- Someone was selling a Rago's Flame Staff for 40k in game.
- Saw lots of ads to buy Superb Charr Carvings for 300g ea, and a couple others to buy for 250g ea.
- I saw a listing on the auction system for a green, "The Soul Reaper" The auction ran for 14 days, ending on Oct. 20. The s/b was 30k with no reserve. There was a single bidder, who won for the 30k bid. Feedback for both buyer and seller regarding the specific auction was positive, so I suspect that was an actual sale.
- I've finally noticed that green "Zehtuka's Horn" are always customized to the player when they're created. So the next time the OP is edited, we need to take "Zehtuka's Horn" entry out and add an entry for the non-focus quest item thing, "Zehtuka's Great Horn," instead which can be traded/used between accounts.

- Alari's Doubleblades: Over the past few weeks (late Oct/early Nov.,) I've noticed a couple different people with wtb ads for these. The ones who quoted prices in their ads said 60-65k. I spoke with a seller and asked price. The seller told me 60k. So, while I have not bought or sold any myself, I'd guess that one could argue 60-65k is reasonable for these with both buyers and sellers.
- Nov 10 - I saw the following in game

- Nov 20 - Over the past several days, I've noticed multiple trade ads in town for the following prices.
-- Armbrace wtb ads as low as 24e, wts ads as high as 27e (1e is still ~7k value it seems.)
-- Gemset and Coffer of Whispers wts ads 12-14k
-- Oppressor Weapon wts ads as low as 70k and as high as 18e, but mostly 80-100k.
- Nov. 26-27 ... There was a buy thread here where someone was asking for one each of "Drikard's Rod" and "The Brainfreezer" (40/40 Water set greens.) The offer price listed in the OP kept going up. Once the buyer listed 10k offer price for each, two people replied offering to sell him those greens.
