Okay, since I haven't seen one of these threads on this board and I feel it is absolutely necessary, I decided to make on. The title is kind of self-explanatory. Simply think of a good skill and put it here Lets keep this serious though since you never know when this will inspire our lovely GW creators to add more skills and who knows, they might even look here for some of them!

So I made 2 but I have some more that I will add when and if I decide they are worthy. I am also trying to teach myself photoshop so if I ever do that, I'll make some crude icons to go with them. (thats a hint to all you photoshop wizzes out there to bedazzle all of us)

Anyway, to start us off (and please follow a format similar to this

Lassitude - Mesmer Spell(Inspiration Magic)
Energy Cost: 5 Casting Time: 1 Recharge Time: 25

You steal 5-15 energy from target foe and target becomes exhausted.


Cycle of Pain - Elite Necromancer Enchantment(Blood Magic)
Energy Cost: 15 Casting Time: 2 Recharge Time: 60

For 45-60 seconds, anytime you would gain health using a blood magic skill, that health is negated and redirected to your opponenet in damage. Damage inflicted in this way is reduced by 80-50%

i think someone already made this, but it would be cool either way:

Lag Spike {E} (30 energy, 30 second recharge, casting time 1/4 second)(no attiribute - 50% failure with rank 3 or less)
create a large lag spike around yourself, nearby foes start to hover for 10 seconds and have a 5% chance of disconnecting. causes exhaustion

and the non aoe effect:

Aura of the Modem {E} (10 energy, casting time 1 second, recharge 45 seconds)(no attiribute - 50% failure with rank 6 or less)
for the next 5-10 seconds, anyone attacking you is frozen in place and has a 10% chance of getting disconnected.

For Warriors:

"Chicken Shiat" (10 energy - Shout)

For 10 seconds, any foe you target stops any current action and is forced to fight you. After Chicken Shiat ends, you are knocked down for 2 seconds due to a laughing fit.

Great against those pesky casters that run around in circles.

indeed imaginative but I dont think you were aware that everyone is maxed out in the no attribute attribute so those first 2 would be too stacked and the incredible warrior shout may need some revision in the name.
But other than that I believe we are making some progress. I was hoping the level would be around here: 1|----------------|---|20 but unfortunately we've started at: 1|--|-----------------|20.

Hopefully we can make some sort of improvement though.

Death signet-Any profession(like res sig and signet of capture*
Casting time-3, One time use, recharges if you kill a boss. Signets dont have energy cost.

Instantly kill one opponent, but not a boss.

foes which persist to swear and curse at your guildname/person has a 100% chance to miss and cast diversion on themselves.


oh yehh

and even of your not mesmer, you still cast diversion on yourself, and even if u cant cast it one yourself, you can in my spell lol

if they could make some melee weapons for rangers that were expertise based.

backstabber

5e 10 recharge
+Xx dmg to your attack. if target was hit from behind with backstabber armor is ignored.

It has always bothered me that Necromancers are weakest against the Undead. So...

ShadowDrain -- Necromancer (Death Magic)
Energy Cost: 10 Casting Time: 1 Recharge Time: 10

Sacrifice 10% Max Health. You steal (1-4) Energy from all nearby (Ward Range) unallied undead.

Actually, along the lines of the skill I posted above, I would love to see weapons (or weapon mods) that damaged Energy instead of Health.


P.S. This should have been in the Sanitarium...

HEY i love cussing at peoples names/guild names in battle. there should be a "ward of noobs", if you walk in and you arent a noob you suffer health degen of 3 and energy degen of 3, have a permanent migraine on you and walk 50% slower, perpetually using the /sit emote.

HA revege of the noobs FTW!

Ranger under proctetion.

energy:20
attrbute:expertise
recharge time:30 seconds
stance
(elite skill) (can get for grents footsprinths)

For 15-30 seconds all preparations are recharged 50% faster and cost 5 energy less
and u have 75% change evade melee and projectile atatcks adn u have 80 vs elemental atatcks if u are hexed and u are immune for bleeding ,blidness dazed ,poison,and cripling for 15-30 seconds if u got, poison bleeding ,blidness dazed ,or health degenerationand u atatck 20%faster, and u arrows cannot be dodged,miss, or bloked.

why not make an actually way to "make" skills all together...

like in-game the trainer has an extra option that costs hella lot of money and skill points and lets you customize a skill, the area is set to auto-balance the skills as you ctreate them so that it wouldnt be over-powered.

i would love to create a strain of low dmg dealing spammable skills that just ignite the enemy for 1-3 seconds, instant to never-ending ignition!!!!

although i guess i will have to deal with lesser energy + mark of rodgort + fire storm :/

because then people would do just that chronos, they would make low dmg skills that blend together perfectly to tear apart the enemy.

Mana Burst (Elite energy storage)
cost 30 energy, 10 second casting time, 120 sec recharge
This skill drains you of all energy. All energy drained after 30 deals (1-5) damage to Target enemy and all nearby (distance of a ward) enemies for each point drained and knocks them down for (1-5) seconds. This spell causes exhaustion.


Recharge (energy storage enchantment spell)
5 energy, 1 second casting, 40 second recharge
This skill lasts for (10-30) seconds and can only be activated when your energy is below half. While this skill is active your movement speed is decreased by 50%. You gain +(1-6) energy regen, and are no longer exhausted.

What I'd really like to see are combination skills, certain special skills you get depending on what BOTH your classes are. For example:

Flame Blade-Warrior/Pyro Elementalist Skill (Swordsmanship/Fire Magic)
Energy Cost: 10 Casting Time: 1 Recharge Time: 5

A flaming sword slash that does +10-30 fire damage and sets foe on fire for 1-4 seconds.

Bane Arrow-Ranger/Monk Skill (Marksmanship/Smiting Prayers)
Energy Cost: 15 Casting Time: 1 Recharge Time: 15

Arrow that does +12-40 holy damage and causes health degenation 2 to undead.

I dunno...Just something I was thinking about.

lower the above to 10-30 and it is more reasonable...

Self-Relization
Monk elite - Devine Favor
For the next 20 seconds you gain 20 atribute points in all atributes, Self-Relization ends if a party member dies. 50% Failure rate with devine favor 12 or less. Once this enchantment is over, you immediatly die and go to heaven, this death can not be prevented. You can not be resurected in any form. If failed then you loose all energy

Invincibility
Warrior Elite - Stance - Tactics
Loose all adrenaline and energy. For the next 10-30 Seconds your health can not go below 1. Once this stance ends, your health is set to 1. 50% Failure rate with Tactics less then 14. If Failed, Health is halved.

Stealth
Ranger Elite- Expertise Stance
For the next 10-20 second you can not be targeted While you are in this stance you can not attack. After this stance, your skills are disabled for 30 seconds, and your movement is set to 50%. 50% failure rate with expertise less then 10. If failed Loose all energy.

Mana Absorption-
Elemental elite Enchatment, energy storage.
for the next 15 seconds you can not be exhausted, you have infinite energy, and your skills recharge 90% faster. When this spells ends you gain exhaustion, and can not regenerate any enrgy, you also loose all energy. 50% failure rate if Energy storage isnt 15 or higher. If failed you loose all energy, and gain exhastion.

Well Of Women.
Necro Elite Spell
All men in the well become frozen in place, they do not gain energy, there skills do not regenerate and they can not gain adrenaline. All woman in the well can only attack fellow women, attack 500% faster, and all skills in skill bar are replaces with "Cat attack(basic attack that does 50 damage"

mantra of men.
Mesmar Elite spell
All women in the imediate area faint. All men in the imediate area kill themsleves

(I dont have a necro or a mesmar so i just make goofy ones for them)

Hm.. The bane arrow, is basically like smite... And then flame blade would probably be something else.... Forget what though
