I don't get it though. You mention assassin in an RPG and people go "OMG A NINJA". Ninjas aren't the only assassin in existance. There are plenty of other assassins varying from each culture.

The new character class looks good, but if its like the WoW rogue then not really worth playing (unless you are bord of the current classes).
If this is true, will the Assassin start in Pre-Searing Ascalon or what?

I don't know.. it could be a photoshop, but if more then one people have that magazine.. I'm really wondering how an assassin could work other then single target skills and possibly group blind/bleeds. Oh well, I loved assassins in DII, so if its true, I'm most likely going to make one here also.

Sounds like a bad idea to me. Guild Wars already has all the basic classes covered -- so what will the "Assassin" be..??

Some kind of Warrior "Elite" class..?? ( aka LoD or NwN Expansions )

Will the introduction of the "Assassin" make the Warrior class redundant..??

I can already make an "Assassin"-type character with the beauty of the dual-class system -- why type-class it..??

I remember hearing that the ranger was going to have stealth a long time ago. They could have removed it in order to make the assassin. Also I wonder what the male version looks like, and I hope we get a ninga mask!
