Ok, i just bought myself a Colossal Scimitar dyed black, and i was pretty surprised when i noticed that the Scimitar turned Shiny in different colors when i reached an other lightzones in the areas. Is this a bug or just a thing that happens to Colossals? Here are a few examples:

Haven't read about it on the forum so i guess this is the first reported bug

could be your video card i havent seen that before, but if it is a bug of the light in that certain area, good find

I'm pretty sure it's a bug. It happens to me also with the colossal scimitars I have. It seems to be only from one side it appears like that, then on the other side it looks like normal in a lot of areas. I've also noticed that it seems to turn the color of whatever the base background color behind all the textures and skins and such of the area is, or whatever you want to call it.

I'd most definitely call it a bug and not intentional. It's pretty annoying, too.

Thats a video card issue. Your video card isn't loading the textures properly because it's either overheating or doesn't have the latest drivers. I don't think this is a bug.

This does seem like a texture issue. Try the -image command when you run GW and see if that fixes it. Alternatively, delete the gw.dat file and redownload it.

Get back to us, and see if that fixes the problem.
