Tried a pre-vanguard quest.
Gave up after a few minutes.
As they r now, i wont do them again.
The bounty today was a Grawl boss.
It turned out ALL Grawl in the same area are lvl10+
Also, the bounty boss has several spawn locations.
I can't be bothered to vanquish the entire area killing all these other high lvl Grawl to find the boss.
Also, the drops from these lvl10+ Grawl looked they were drops from near-lvl-zero foes.
Sure it may be easier then deathleveling to get XP.
But still.

I believe the only ones who will go for LS with a pre character are those who have nothing left to do in GW.......or are just really bored. Also, as someone else has said, unless the quests give out a decent amount of xp LS is going to take a looooooooooooooooooooong time to do in pre.

/Seconded, Trying to find this information out myself
Also can you keep getting quest after quest (Stackable?) or do you have to finish one before you can get another?

I can answer this, seeing as I just tried it. Nope you can't stack them. Langmar says that you have to complete the last task before you get a new one.

Seems like you could be farming the spawns from the daily quest, no? Accept quest, kill spawns, abandon quest. Wash, rinse, repeat.
Or is there a mechanism in place to prevent players from doing this?
It's certainly not going to go quickly... but it would be faster than just relying on the quest reward XP alone.

This is exactly what I was thinking. After reaching the first tier of Survivor, you have 1,196,900 xp left to get without dying. At 1,000xp per day, that's almost 1,200 days to finish.

You can simply kill quest mobs for XP without completing quests at rate slightly better than 1k a day.

Which means you get LS at slightly less than 4 years? I'd kill myself before I made it.

Sorry for necroing this thread, figured it might be better than making a new topic about same subject.
Survivor(1) is rather easy, but did anyone actually managed rank 2 or 3 yet?

I have seen a survivor R2 or R3 around but I can't remember the names I'm sure if people look and ask around then someone will pop up with the title showing!

Sorry but I don't believe it. And yes I have looked, and yes I have asked around. I have yet to see an r2 or r3 survivor

Vaguely recall seeing a rank 2 awhile back, not seen any rank 3 but I don't spend much time in pre these days.
