Curse

I know this is for GuildWars and not GW2, but my problem is that i seem to be unable to create a Curse account so i can logon to the GW2 site.

When I try I get the following message:

Your Curse username may only contain uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores.

which is incorrect since I am trying to register with a name cosnsisting of 2 regular English words.

On the Curse support site I get the following

Recaptcha
Input error: k: Format of site key was invalid

and the picture of the word to type is not shown.

Can anybody please be helpful and direct me to the right place to ask....or maybe ask Curse to correct their registraction pages?

I would ask what web browser you are using for the recapture not showing up (I know things dont work so well for me on chrome)...also in your 'two words' do you have a space? underline? dash? or is it one word eg: oneword?

Kvinna would be the one to contact. She does check these threads out regularly but you might want to send a pm to her with more information so she can check out what is not working for you.

Im using Firefox and there are no special chars in the name, its like "Donald Duck" with space and then nothing else than english letters and the start letters capitalized.

Curse does NOT have anything to do with Guild Wars or Guild Wars 2. That is a totally different platform for other games as both GW and GW2 do not allow addons. You really need to sign on thru your GW accounts only.

what I am trying is to create an account on the GW2 FORUM that is hosted by Curse aswell as this forum is.
and Cosyfiep if someone else got the name im trying to register, then I would suppose it would inform me that the name is taken?

not sure, just thought you might want to check and see if there is another user with the name--as I do not know what error messages they use.

Just a thought....other than what I have suggested I am at a loss

If its like "Donald Duck", maybe its not recognizing the space between the name. Try "Donald_Duck" or "DonaldDuck". Just a suggestion, and sorry if I'm missing something obvious.

Dolyak is correct - it can't contain spaces. Also, make sure you are allowing scripts (usually the captcha isn't shown because of that reason). If you are still having trouble signing up on GW2G after that, try creating an account on Curse.com first.

It was just the space, I have now created it with underscore. Thanks a lot, I would never have guessed that a space wasnt accepted if I had not been told.
