I looked through the forum and didn't see this anywhere, but me and my guildy tried it in a couple different places, and at least in the desolation, it was a constant bug. If you drop gold in a zone, it appears as an incorrect amount, anywhere from 1k up worked (or didnt work) For example, 10,000 gold APPEARS as 16 gold, 40,000 was like 56 gold, 1,250 gold was 226, etc.

This happens to me too... I was eh... using the 'thing' for Raze the Roost and dropped 2p, it didn't show up as 2,000 gold. It showed up as a lesser amount.

Overflow. 1250=4*256+226, 10000=39*256+16 etc.
I guess nothing over 255 gold is supposed to drop.

I agree that this is probably what it is, but until recently, I have dropped full amounts on the ground and seen them as such. It is a recent chage they did that has caused this.

i can say that when i was bored i gave a lvl 2 100k and dropped it outside and it appeared as such this was 4 months ago.

4 months ago, dupers didn't exist. Not that this has much relevance, but just saying alot changes in 4 months. This is something that has been changed recently.
