Default Auction Issues - relist, deleted

I've been selling quite a bit over the last month or two and have noticed a couple of issues recently. If needed, I can start tracking specific auctions that exhibit these behaviors:

1) Sold auctions are randomly deleted. I've had at least a dozen cases where sold items were deleted prior to making the trade. Recently I had seven pages of closed items one day, and three pages the next. Most of these had been completed, so those were not the problem. The issue was that many hadn't, so even when we traded, neither the buyer nor the seller could leave feedback.

2) Relisting - This has been quirky recently, where items will not relist properly, or in a couple of cases, were relisted when they were not supposed to be. In the event of not relisting, this was a case where I had many staff heads for sale, with auto-relist even when sold checked. The relist did not happen. The other case was where I sold out completely (5 auto-relists), but the item was relisted a 6th and 7th time, until I finally noticed and deleted the auction.

Relisting is not so big an issue as random deletion of auctions. Is this a known issue, and is there any way to work around this problem?

Thanks much!

This is not a random deletion.

I run maintenance on the auction database periodically to keep it running at it's optimum (ask people who have been around here for awhile how buggy/laggy it used to be).

This maintenance includes the removal of any auctions that have been marked deleted by either the buyer or the seller. Users are urged not to delete auctions until the transaction is completed, however, if your buyers have deleted the auctions they have won from their won list, it will disappear when the maintenance is run.

I do not have a regular schedule when I do this, so what I can suggest is you maintain your own list of who has bought what and for how much. Generally I don't do this more than once a month, unless there are other issues with the auction performance that need to be addressed.
