This build works great for PvE but was wondering if anyone has tried something like this for PvP. My thought is for versitility, that I can keep at range and drain health, do AOE attacks, heal myself in combat. Also, if attacked by one or more I can use evade and heals to stay alive a little longer to allow any teamates to kill off the other team, pseudo tanking if needed or if I get mobbed. I may change Animate bone horror for PvP to backfire since I hear minions arn't that useful and I could use a spell for casters.Any comments or suggesstions on spells that might work better for this concept.

Class: Necromancer / Mesmer

Attributes: (cost)

Blood Magic: 6 (21)
Death Magic: 6 (21)
Illusion Magic: 4 (10)

Total attribute points used: 55/200

4) Conjure Phantasm - (10,1,5) For 5 seconds, target foe experiences health degeneration of 5.
5) Vampiric Gaze - (10,1,5) Steal 35 health from target foe.
6) Life Siphon - (10,2,2) For 17 seconds, target suffers health degeneration of 2 and you gain health regeneration of 2.
7) Deathly Swarm - (10,3,3) Deathly Swarm flies out slowly and strikes for 41 cold damage (before armor) on up to three targets.
8) Animate Bone Horror - (15,3,5) Exploit nearest corpse to animate a level 8 Bone Horror.

If you're looking to drain, drop Death Magic and bump up Blood and Domination. Drop Swarm and Horror and throw in things like Soul Barbs, Empathy, Backfire. You probably won't need all of Ether Feast, Syphon and Gaze; you shouldn't need to heal that much, especially with Distortion. Also, look into the Mesmer skill that costs 5 Energy and steals Energy from the target (Power Tap or Energy Tap, I can't recall the name at the moment); you can gain a nice amount of Energy that way, while rendering a spellcaster useless.
