View Full Version : Suggestion: Character Name
Ramus

Just a suggestion, since we can not use sigs because of the server load and such why not add another profile field that shows up under our avatar. It could just be Character Name: And maybe even class and level if you wanted to go a step further. Then at least we could put in that extra information if we wanted. Such as myself, my forum name is Ramus, but my ingame name is Ramus Iniroth. So no one would ever be able to find me. I know theres some mods that allow you to do that, I can not remember if vbulletin had it pre-built.
Anyway, just a thought. :) Love the forums, if you can not tell by my trolling.

Whadayamean, we don't already have that? My characters' names appear under my avatar. ;)
(HINT: You can put whatever you want in your avatar, as long as it fits in 100x100 pixels.)

Well yes, I know that.
But it would be nice if it was just in our profile.
GAH! :p

A suggestion for the forums, rather a question I suppose.
Would it be possible to make a selected in game name display directly below our forum name? it'd be really helpful since signatures aren't included (otherwise it'd be an easy job of putting our IGN there.)

Well, that was a quick responce :P
Edit: Looks a bit...cluttered. I may just put (N/R) at the end of my name to get a cleaner look.

We move with blazing speed sometimes. Especially when something's already been in the planning stages for a while...
And, I agree, it does look a bit cluttered. I think it would be better to display it as the game does. A litte (R/Me) or (Mo/W) or what have you next to the name.
