Before i go too far and gimp myself i was curious how viable this build would be for pvp, for pve it seems to be doing pretty well right now, but this is what i planned:
Mo/W
Healing 12
Swords 10
Divine Favor 8
Mostly healing spells, resurrect, Swords skills riposite for pvp
any advice would be appreciated

What you'll find in PvP is that while in PvE you need a little bit of offense for solo work. In PvP, you'll find yourself trying like mad to stay alive!
Really, monks in PvP have that big public enemy #1 sign on them. As well as the Wanted Dead or Alive, BIG REWARD. If you look at your random squad and see 3 other people and none of them are monk primaries... you KNOW who's gonna have 2 or 3 people attacking him first. (which is why you better make sure half your skills can be used on yourself, seriously, healing touch/orison/signet of devotion are bigtime favorites of a lot of monks... why because it's 3 skills then can use on themselves within 5s repeatedly).
While I'd say Mo/W is great for PvE (at least until the higher level stuff where groups are necessary... and well a monk in melee becomes a liability). If you do go with warrior secondary, it should be for the tactics and defensive skills to enhance your survival. A lot of people go Mo/R as well for survival skills for the same reason for the survival defensive utility.
If you're out to heal and do damage at the same time. I'd suggest some investment in the smiting skills instead.
