Crafting help

Where can I find/obtain coal to craft steel ingots for the level 10 armors in Old Ascalon? I have a necro all the way up to Yak's bend and haven't seen it, but my warrior needs it to craft the better armors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There's a materials trader right outside Fort Ranik who can make charcoal out of wood. That's probably the easiest place to go.
