I'd use blood magic and curses with a little smiting. Use life siphon on 2 or 3 of their team so you have steady health regen. Vampiric gaze and maybe even vamp touch for when they get close. Try to keep your distance. Pile curses on the warriors, slow their attack speed and reduce their armor use faintheartedness, parasitic bond, weaken armor. Use bane signet to knock them down when they are attacking you. Basically if its warriors you are having problems with your line of curses should rend them useless, careful of monks or mesmers taking them off though.

I'm a level 14 necro/monk, and I have 10 in blood magic and 7 in healing(or something around there, I can't remember the exact numbers). Like Zorque said, use life siphon on 2 or 3 people on their team. If a warrior attacks me, I usually will cast Healing Breeze on myself. After that I just renew healing breeze and whenever I have the mana, I use vampiric gaze so I can gain some health while doing damage at the same time. Also make sure you renew life siphon on the warrior that is attacking you. Using these spells I can outlast almost any warrior of my level. It is also good to have an organized team in these situations so they can kill the warrior while your busy staying alive. Another thing to remember is that most people in the Ascalon City arena will be level 10. You probably would have a hard time standing up to a warrior 2 levels above you even if you had very good tactics.
Edit: One more ability that can be useful is Blood Renewal. I don't use it anymore, but I used to use it untill about level 11. As long as you get your timing down right(use it when you have 15 mana and more than 3/4 health) and cast healing breeze immediately afterwards, it can be a very mana efficient way to heal up.
