Arrrgh I Cant Log Out!!!!

I need to logout because I have made a new account.

I click on Logout at the top toolbar and it says:
An error has occured while trying to log out. Click here to log out

So I click the link and I get directed to the forum home :confused:

So I try the Logout on the thin brown bar. It says:
All cookies are cleared

So I think to myself great! now i can use my new account!

But no... I go to the forum home to login with my new account and I AM STILL LOGGED IN AS MERLIN :(

Please help me....

I am using Firefox. I can login on IE but that full of viruses :p.

SO I need help to logout on firefox. I have deleted all my cookies and everything :(

If you're desperate to log out, you could manually clear the cookies in your computer. The last time I cleaned up my HD, it logged me out.

Guess GWG isn't really erasing cookies...or the site's plunking another one on your HD as soon as it deletes the first one.

I've had that happen to me. Log out the first time, then click on "log out" on the next screen that pops up. That has always done it for me.

Did you try clicking "refresh" on the page where it shows you as being logged back in? Doing that has always solved the problem for me.

I have deleted EVERYTHING to do with firefox, EVERYTHING to do with Mozzilla, and ALL my cookies from IE and firefox...

I am going to have to use Operah :(

I've been getting the first one, 'an error has occured', but I just hit the 'log out here' link and it works. This has happened EVERYTIME I've tried to log out in the past couple of weeks. Oh, and I use Firefox too.

to be honest I've never been able to log out in IE :)

i got the same problem.. cant logout wile using Firefox.. but i can logout wile using Internet Explorer.. but im still logged on with Firefox when im not logged on with Explorer

How do you geta different web browser? I have IE how do you get this Firefox?

You go to firefox.com and download it. ;)
