Different Effects of Elemental Damage....?

Well... i wanted to know what each of them have advantage of each other.
I know lightning damage on weapon is effective against warriors or whoever wears heavy armors.
What does cold damage on weapons do? Fire Damage such as dragon sword?
Are there Dark Damage Axes or Swords out yet?
Is Piercing damage same as slashing damage?
One of my clanmate said that piercing damage ignores armors....i dunno if thats true

element by itself, does not have any property at all... example: lightning damage weapons does not have 25% armor penetration...

the only reason that those line of skills got those property was because the skill itself have the ability, not the element...

Therefore, whatever element you use... it is pretty much the same, until you hit someone with fire resistance armor with a fire sword.

I recommend carrying at least 2 element of weapons... one with regular physical damage to deal with rangers, another elemental weapon to deal with warriors... or rather, use physical type weapon to deal with people wearing elemental resistant armor and elemental to physical resistance.
