Any updates on this? Is it fixed yet? I just tried modifying some guild info for my existing guild and I'm getting the same problem. :(

I've been trying to add my guild since 9/12.. no luck, but disregard the addition of my guild anyway.. I gave up leadership. You may want to look into that area.. 9/12 to 11/02 and still no response or addition? heh.. that's almost 2 months. (and yes, I did pm a moderator/admin, and yes when the guild was submitted, I was the leader)

Thank you admins for addressing the problem.
I just submitted my Guild information and the confirmation screen had a warning message on it:
"Thank you for submitting your guild.
Your guild must be authenticated by us before it is added to our database. Until then, it will not appear. This holds true if you added a new guild or if you updated a previously added guild. We verify all additions to the database. Once approved, you wil be notified by email, and your guild will be listed in our database.
In return, we ask that you kindly link back to Guild Wars Guru. Please visit the link to us page for different ways of linking to us.
Click here to go back to the guild listing.
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/gw/public_html/guilds/edit.php on line 273"
Should I resubmit it or will it go through o.k.?

Nice work, thought I'd never see my guild in the database. :D
Although, whether I'm blind or just taking too many stupid pills today, I can't find the link to the guild database on the main page. :o

Both. It's the Guild Listings under Community.

Just as a side note, apparently generating the pages for the Guild Database completely chokes the server. We are looking into it, but in the meantime an FYI for any new guilds submitting their information, I will update it once a day in the wee hours of the morning. This way I'll stop making the site lag and completely die in some cases. :D

hey all. thanks again for getting it kinda up and running again. I had submitted my guild and it did appear in the recent additions listing. I later (yeah, soon after - sorry!) editted the listing because of an email change and to change the age requirement from just "14" to " 14 years old and up" or something like that.
Anyways, now I can't find my guild listing. Guild: Starfleet Intelligenct Guild, initials: SFIG. My understanding was the the original/most recent listing would stay up until the revisions were approved.

I had posted a link to the Guild Listing in our own Guild Forums which I had forgotten all about - ya know, tell the troops we're on the map kind of thing - anyways I just went to it and sure enough the Guild Listing is there.
However, it isn't in the alphabetical list or in the search - hopefully that helps in pinpointing where the problem is. Seems like the problem is in whatever application/code/whatever you're using add a new listing to the actual complete and searchable list of 1670+ Guilds after it leaves the top most recent additions. Erm... but you know it better than I (don't you just hate backseat drivers?)
the direct link I have is this:
