I havent been able to search any forum, either it's just extremely slow. or it just comes up with a blank page.

If I might propose a sticky as to help with this issue in the Q&A section, it would probably help a bit. I myself didn't know the advance search worked while the quick search didn't, and I would assume that quite a few others don't.
Looking at the Q&A section, it seems that a lot of people's topics are being locked for no obvious reason other than that their question had been previously asked and answered in another topic.
Now, I know it's not rocket science, but it DOES take a bit of intuition to realize that search works one way and not another (especially when it's the more complicated option that works). Instead of locking every topic on sight, and barring someone from asking a fair question (or expanding on the topic at hand within the thread), let's help them out a bit, and show them how it's currently working.
Thanks.
(As I write this, more than half of the first page of Q&A is locked;))
