The Reno Brothers have released version 1.5.0 of 'The Edge'. For those unfamiliar with this free utility, it lets you research, create and test one build against another. You can also word-search for skills, sort for the most powerful and adjust your attributes, armor, weapon, energy and health settings. It is available now, just in time for the launch of Guild Wars.

You can get it at: http://www.gwonline.net/files/files.php?&id=19

Further information is available at: http://renobrothers.waynereno.com/

New features include:

· A completely updated skill database from the final beta weekend.
· A full set of new skill images color-coded by profession.
· More advanced word-search capabilities.
· The ability to filter skills by attribute, profession and build.
· An optional expanded view area of the skill list.
· The ability to adjust energy & health regeneration rates, as well as health & energy pools.
· Simpler, Automated Battle-View for you to 'fight' an opposing build.
· Keys 1-8 have been activated in Battle-View to test the sequencing and timing of skills.
· Many more skills have been enabled in Battle-View.
· A smaller download with an executable file for quick installation.

I'd also like to lend my gratitude - this project, though not quite perfect, is a fantastic tool for all of us.

I wonder if there will be any new professions..
Like rogues and mages and knights perhaps?
Or maybe even ninjas or samourais....

Eh?

I'm confused--for the skill locations (even though they aren't up to date), they are labelled (T), (OP), and (EA). (T) would be Trainers, but I can't quite discern what the other two mean...

Great tool, though! :)

It's a pretty good tool, but I still prefer to use GWF Character Builder. Now they even have a built in map and you can build teams a long with individual characters. The Edge is pretty fun to play with though because of the enemy thing lol.
