One last update before the release of the game! This version features a more "intellegent" program which will download any missing databases or skill images. Hopefully this will elimate any problems associated with future updates to the skill database. Also I grabbed all new skill images to support the new UI which are included in the zip file so you only need to download the image pack if for some reason the ones included don't work.

NOTE: Save files from version 1.04b or older may not work properly. I apologize in advance but there were some skill changes made that resulted in an overhaul of certain skills that forced some changes to be made. I suggest you export or print out your current builds before upgrading to 1.05.

Head on over to the Downloads (www.spiritsofwar.com/downloads.php) section to grab the latest version!

NOTE: You MUST have .NET Framework (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=262D25E3-F589-4842-8157-034D1E7CF3A3&displaylang=en) installed. If you do not, the program will not run.

How to submit bug reports or skill corrections

You can submit bug reports and skill corrections via email to cain@spiritsofwar.com.

Bug Reports

Please provide as much information as possible with a bug report such as what you did to produce it, if it is easily re-produced and any error messages that are displayed.

Skill Corrections

The skills may not be 100% up to date. If you notice that a skill's description or values are incorrect, simply send me an email with what the skill is supposed to say or it's energy, recharge, activation, adrenaline, etc values. If it's the damage on the skill that's wrong, send me a screenshot of the skill at level 0 and the skill at level 12. You can easily do this using a PvP character so you don't waste your refund points. Please crop the image so you're only sending the skill description to keep the size of the email down.

I must be missing something really, really obvious, because I can't figure out how to assign skills to my character builds in this program. How?

Edit: Thanks, double click worked.

Double click the skill slot for a character, and it'll bring up the skill menu- you can browse through the skills available for a character of your chosen professions, and just double click the skill you want to add for it to go into the skill slot you double-clicked on.

You need to have .NET Framework installed which is clearly stated in the readme.txt. You can download it here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=262D25E3-F589-4842-8157-034D1E7CF3A3&displaylang=en

No one has reponded to this in awhile, but I wanted to say something. Ive checked this calculator and it has holes in it. Very easy to have your account stolen if you use it. Just a warning.

Great program...

As long as there's no keyloggers/trojans in it.. I hope not.

There are no holes in my program. Don't insult me like that. If you do not download it off the official Spirits of War website then you're not getting the real program. If someone hacked my program and turned into a key logger and you download it off their site then that's your problem, not mine. I am very well respected in the Guild Wars community and I have many people that will vouche for me including many Developers of Guild Wars and even Gaile would be in my corner and would assure you that I would never include a keylogger in my program.

On a side note, I haven't updated the skills in a long time and probably won't due to lack of time. If you want to update the skill database yourself then free free to but I'm not responsible if the program stops working correctly.

Download it off the Spirits of War website. www.spiritsofwar.com

The skills are way out of date though.

If anyone is interested in helping me with keeping the skills up to date for my program, reply here, send me a PM or fire off an email to cain05@gmail.com. It's quite easy to do, just a little time consuming. It takes roughly an hour per class so six hours every update is bit much for me to keep up with. It's also a great way to get to know skills for classes you aren't familiar with. Thanks.

any possibilty of switching from an 1-12 to 1-15 skill system would probabaly be more accurate if it was changed from 12 to 15

I could...but that would require re-working a bunch of code and the re-doing all the skill information. In the readme I state the program is merely a guideline (a horribly out of date guide line atm) and that it's best to check in game for actual skill information.

For those that offered to help out, send me an email to the address posted above so I have a way of contacting you. Also let me know which professions you are interested in updating. Thanks.
