I mentioned this in another thread but I'll make it official here. We here at the Guru are not only happy but eager to recieve fresh, juicy mea...er, content from our many loyal followers. If you've got something you'd like hosted here, we'll work with you to make it a reality.
If you've got an idea or a rough draft and need some help fleshing it out or correcting it. If you've got an essay or a build you'd like to see posted. If you've got something I haven't even thought of, please contact me or another member of the staff here via PM or e-mail and we'll gladly assist you.
For builds, please make sure your build is in html rather than board format (That's <> instead of []) and that all links and figures are accurate. Our CMS uses html formating and this will make it much easier for us to post your build quickly. If you're unsure of how to format things just pick out a build that you like from our Build Directory (http://www.guildwarsguru.com/builds-directory-id215.php) and copy and paste the source code as you need it. There's no established template for builds although we do like them to be as clear and legible as possible as well as to include links to the various skills and items they reference.
For articles, please make sure your information is uptodate and you've done the little things like run a spell checker. We reserve the right to request you edit or alter your essay in order to match the standards we hold this site to including accuracy and readability so don't be surprised if when you send us something we send it back with some criticism. We're not trying to be rude or ungrateful, just to make sure your article is as good as it can be.
For anything else, just remember that we'll not publish anything that doesn't comply with this site's guidelines. We don't want your Charr/Tengu slashfic nor your graphic visualization of the newest Mesmer skill Illusiory Clothing, thank you very much.
And, as an example of what we'll love to post, Shrapnel_Magnet submited his Ranger/Mesmer Pirate King (http://www.guildwarsguru.com/content/shrapnel-s-pirate-king-build-id1151.php) build complete with a detailed examination of just what makes it tick.
