Pop-up Adds

I have recently noticed pop-up adds appearing on this site. They are a pain in the butt. Sometimes you close one and another pops up. I realize that advertising is necessary to help pay the bills, but please get rid of those annoying pop-up adds. :(

i have yet to see one, or even the message "popup was blocked" or whatnot. maybe its firefox + popup blocker, maybe its your computer w/ one of those dam popup viruses

if you can provide a screenshot please, we should have NO popup advertising on our sites at all, so if there is one we need a picture or a url or something to find the advertiser and find out what happened.

I have never seen a pop-up add here, and I have pop-ups turned on, so if they are here I should be seeing them. I am using Opera.

You need to run anti-spyware software on your comp imediately because it is not this site - It is on your comp.

Unfortunately, I am recieving popups as well, mostly when I'm in the sell forums but other places as well. My computer is clean also.

I'm also seeing "Sponser Ads" on top to buy WoW and GW gold.. Just to let ya know :(

hmm. my spybot and adaware finds tracking cookies from there a lot. not saying its the site, tho. if you want the adaware log, pm me and ill run the scan and send ya the cookies it finds. dunno if itll help, but if so, cool

The closest things I've seen to popups here are the flash ads that extend themselves downward when you mouseover them. To those with the popup problems, especially that one site posted earlier, please run a full system scan with lavasoft adaware (google it) or panda software scans, or a home scan like norton or mcaffee.

I've ran scans, sifted through my registry, etc etc. Nothing.

Came to the forum on my Linux box and recieved the same popups (or atleast, warnings that popups were trying to get through).

It's not really a problem that's affecting my PC but, ya know :p

OK, I think I know exactly what is causing the problem~ Imagshack.us

They have a lot of pop up ads from media.fastclick and a lot of people post pictures on here using imagshack.. so its the obvious explanation.
