That nice number in profile with 'referral', is it only for show, or does it actually have value to the moderationteam? Yes, I know what it is, but is it actively used for something?

If it is for bragging rights, I might as well go bragging:
I aparantly got my 4th referral recently. Anyone have more? :D

It does not value to the moderation team, at least that's what I think. It's just for show. Not sure what Admins can say about this.

Sausaletus has the highest number of referrals to my knowledge.

You can't check your own referrals.

And they're just mostly there for bragging rights :)

How would one acquire one?

When a friend signs up, ask him to type your forum name into the "who referred you" field. That should pop up a referral :)

Ah thanks. I thought referrals were the same as ones you get from High School (2 Referrals = Kicked out of class).
