I'm not sure I like the idea of banned people's names being a hard to read light grey.

What point does it serve exactly other than to set them apart even further from the people that are still allowed to post?

It reminds me of a Scarlet Letter type thing...

If people choose to break the rules, then they choose to face the consequences. I'm not seeing the problem here. If someone cannot abide by the forum guidelines and is temporarily banned or permanently banned (for severe or repeated cases) then that is on their heads. Maybe they can learn from it and the community can learn by that example as well.

The Silver/Grey works! You wouldn't want them to have a Cool color like RED would you? Speaking of that...Inde can I have RED? hehe That IS the best one and you saved it for only two people! :D

Hmm, how come I saw some people with Banned in their name but their name was red? I think people like BBoy and L I G H T have red names while banned :S

From what I've heard, Firefox runs weird.

I guess that's why they are red... I use Firefox all the time

I understand that its a concequence, and it won't make a difference, they are still banned... but why bother in the first place? They already have the title under their name that says "banned", and now with this bright grey its just overkill.

More of a distraction than anything else I guess.

I thought it was light blue.. but I know it's hard to read, whatever it is. I have to look kind of sideways and lean kinda close to the lcd to read the name so I can point my finger!

I noticed a few people that were supposedly "banned" would return to the forum in a few days or two... is that like somekind of suspension instead?

Yes. Bans include suspensions as well. They're not all permanent.
