Okay, it's becoming very clear that many things on the Main Site seem to be hard to find, as well as the reputation of these forums is bringing people in to them without even looking at the site.

Okay so now why is there no link to The New Player's Center (http://www.guildwarsguru.com/new-player-s-center-id227.php), Guides (http://www.guildwarsguru.com/guides-id119.php) , etc.?

If they are at the main index they are hiding! :)

Please, can someone fix this soon? I mean if not that then, pleeeeasse something like this (http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/showpost.php?p=27860&postcount=32).

The onslaught of new players hasn't even begun and this is the situation. I am sure something great is in the works guys, so please don't get me wrong. The challenge though has started yesterday, per se. Sure they should search more, but people use different terms sometimes and the search yields a "not found."

Anyway, my site suggestion is fix the index, expedite what you are working on, and if neither of these can be addressed as easily as any hope then at least a sticky with links throughout until there is the grand presentable version. Please?

Please pardom me for making a thread, as I don't know where this is meant to fall as far as a Site Feedback as it is more a request on behalf of those who hang and read here and those new to the forum, of which I remain both.

I think the biggest reason for this problem is the fact that a lot of people visit the Guild Wars home page and use the "forums" link to link straight to the GWG forums. That said, I think you're suggestions are a good place to start and may help a little, but don't expect to see all that much of a difference. Those of us who made the effort to find the information aren't the same as the "lost souls" who spam the forums with redundant questions. Personally, I don't mind the duplicate threads, but I understand I am in the minority.

Virt so you can go to the main page and find the guides? Please tell me how to get to them. I tried to get to stuff from the index on the left and just seemed the list was not connecting somehow. Not referencing as well as it could to how people appear to link to the game mentally. But then I only played 5 betas not someone all that seasoned myself, yet too, for a newer person than me it might be even more confusing.

There's a link right in the index that says New Player Center.

Oh yea....somewhere in the middle alphabetically. Yea I am a new to this site, new to the game and that just stands right out there. :p

In other words, why isn't it a banner with 1 inch letters "NEW PLAYER CENTER CLICK HERE!" or at least a link at the top of the column. Easy to find for those who know doesn't mean easy to find in fact. For me this is about saving everyone time and effort from the admins on down to the members. That's all I am looking to accomplish. There is a floodgate of New players backing up into droves, do we rely on what is already showing to be marginal performance based on the posts you all have to edit, close, and people like me you have to manage, or, are these things a call for some not incredibly difficult but could be very significant changes?

Note too that the New Player Center doesn't link to the other guides. Road to level 10 sure, then theres this one about pre-searing ascalon (http://www.guildwarsguru.com/content/pre-searing-ascalon-id1264.php) and it still doesn't have the other link to many of Ensign's articles. What I mean is, where is the link from the new player center that's just for new players of Guildwars not new to online games?--Those people will skim through the regular stuff and then want the meat, they want Ensign's articles, they want to see some build articles and other "quick" links to familiarize them with the game almost all at once.

If they don't go there or don't see them quickly they will be in the forums making the thread of "Do you see longevity in GuildWars with the level capped at 20?"

Please try to see the entirety of what I am getting at as this is not some literal knit picky thing that can be dismissed over a link to a center that is incomplete as evidenced by the threads being made.

Why isn't there a link in the new player center to Aladdar's FAQ (http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1641) and one to the Technical Forum (http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=16) ? 400,000 people played one of the BWEs please understand what I am meaning in context of 2 weeks to release.
